Anders Lund just said to the camera that an Euskaltelrider lost his handlebars. I assume that he means that he lost his grip on the handlebars, not that the handlebars actually came off the frame.
Edit: He also said he did not see iff it was Anton or not.
It sounds like it was another Euskaltelrider, because if he can't tell the difference between Anton and the other Euskaltelriders, then he hasn't watched Anton's jersey closely enough.
It was Anton, he said so himself. And theyh were going 80km/h a few riders said. I'm not sure you have time to look real good at 80km/h =) |

If you are the leader of the Vuelta, you cannot stay among the group. I'm sorry for Anton, but it was stupid Be honest to us : did you decide to put all the efforts required in your interventions on this forum to get the dumbest member award ? As there might not be one, you might as well stop making a fool of yourself in every statement you're writing here. Thank you. |

Apparently, Purito got stung by a wasp and that's why he was covering his eye.
That makes a lot of sense, both because of his celebration and the fact he wore sunglasses after the finish in interviews and on the podium.
It's a sad day and I really hope Antón comes back strongly next year. I know there was a lot of arguments about Antón vs Nibali, but I was just enjoying a nice entertaining battle between riders who haven't yet won a Grand Tour. Still, tomorrow and Monday should still be exciting. |

The weather on the top today seems to very much like in 2007 with it being cold and foggy on the top.

Yeah, either that or snooker... On Eurosport Norway, they start the broadcast at 16:45 GMT+1.

I'm worried about whether they are able to broadcast it - but other than that, this could turn out to be a amazing finish
For those complaining about Eurosport ... yay for Danish TV 2 (for once!) |

Bruseghin got 18 stiches after his crash yesterday.
About 35 km left for the breakaway. They have 8:45 to the pack. The breakaway is, Nico Sijmens (Cofidis), Pierre Cazaux (Francaise des Jeux), Olivier Kaisen (Omega Pharma-Lotto), Greg Van Avermaet (Omega Pharma-Lotto), Carlos Barredo (Quick Step) and Martin Velits (Team HTC-Columbia)
Barredo or Velits are favourits for the stage.

Eurosport is on baby!

Barredo has a great chance, but I'm not sure Martin can climb as well as his brother
