Kangert takes Abu Dhabi stage 3 and also possibly tour win. If someone..he deserves it. One of the best domestiques in peloton..and great year he had. Amazing may ..not so good TdF. Great olympics ..now this.
Also Nibali shows how great champ he is. You take it this time. You have been worked for me years (He wanted to take him to Bahrein team, but Astana extended early season for another 2 years).
Domestique pay day.

I know I'm a little bit late for this but TANEL KANGERT! What a fantastic cyclist he is. His combination of personality, attitude, tactical mind and strength made him my favourite cyclist, so it's brilliant for me to see him winning here after having a great season already.
Credits also to Vincenzo who did a fantastic job of blocking for him, doing a Keisse and breaking Ulissis effort...
Also a fantastic effort by Mekseb Debesay. Whoever doubtet in the legitimaty of the afridan continental scene, this man has started from scratch there and now he's into professional cycling with 25 years being a real deal as seen now in Abu Dhabi. Again, very good sign for African cycling, showing that it's not necessary to be in a professional developement team but that you can also go the hard way paved by teams like BikeAid and tough races like the hilly mid-african tours with horrible roads Tour of Eritrea or the brutal racing on most of the flat northern african races in f.e. Algeria and Morocco (like Setif or Marche Verte).
So a fantastic result in a not-so-fantastic location!
Yes, Kangert is one of the best and most loyal domestiques out there. Nibali has a lot to thank him for.
Never heard of the African guy, but good to see him do well. Maybe I need to follow him instead of Kudus, altho I still await a climbing performance like that from him.. He is still only 22 tho, maybe I have too high expectations.
