Yeah, some years ago, people thought Denmark would be like Scotland, with 2 dominating teams, Brøndby IF and FCK at that time, but after a miserable season by FCK(They're really lucky to claim 2nd place), I think that the Danish Superliga is getting close to a more even league with 4-6 teams, which can all dream of gold at season-start.

You cant really say FCK had a miserable season without looking at Brøndby. Seriously.

AaB? oh god...I remember Porto playing those guys in the CL so many years ago.
back in the great days when only champions had access and the CL was so much better...

Well, it's quite a time since we were in the Champions League. Tottenham and Sampdoria fans should remember us for this season though (So close )

Do I have to mention every team in the Superliga with a miserable season? Brøndby, Viborg, FCK? Other teams have been playing okay, not very good though.

I still refuse to accept that you can say FCK had a miserable season. Now, finishing 9th when everyone expects a medal, thats miserable. Finishing 2nd (lets pretend the season is over ) after expecting the championship is just severe underperforming.

If FCK ends 2nd I wouldn't call it 'miserable' either. |

The only football I follow is the NFL. Being from America I know very little about Soccer (football) and the only players I know are Freddy Adu. Beckham, Ronaldino, Ronaldo, Henry, and the guy who head butted the other guy in the World Soccer Tournament.

Ok, I've just heard today that sources at Man City have said that Michael Johnson is very likely to leave the club to Liverpool for £6 million
The same sources has said that EVERYONE is up for sale due to the uncertainty of Sven's future
Dunne, may go to either Newcastle or Everton and Elano, Hart, Petrov and Richards are wanted by numerous Permiership teams Richards has recently said he's happy at City though.
--------
Cristiano Ronaldo has been hinting he wants to move away from Manchester, saying things like "I am happy here but lets see what happens after the Champions League final", "I'm calm here. But in the future, I don't know" and "I'd love to play in Spain".
-------
Harry Redknapp has responded to suggestions he may retire after the FA Cup Final by saying "Retire? The missus won't want me cluttering up the house!"
This is after his wifer saying "The thought of him retiring and being home isn't worth thinking about. If that happened, I'd have to go into work..." and when she found out he was going away for 2 days training; "Wonderful! 2 days of peace and quiet!". What a marriage

Yesterday he said a better one to the press here.
"I'd love to, but in life you can't always get what you want"
basically he wants to go, but wants United to look like the bad guys for not letting him.

Schmeichel is definately leaving He's going to Coventry
and just a few facts to show how English football is crazy:
Chelsea signed Damien Duff from Blackburn for £17million and sold him 3 years later to Newcastle for £5million.
Roman Abramovic will pay out £5.8million is extras if his team win the Champions League.
Winston Bogarde earned £8.32million for 518minutes in 4 years at Chelsea
Bosko Balaban cost Villa £6million, started 2 games in 3 years and didn't score.
Olivier Kapo rewarded his 17yr-old boot-boy by giving him the keys to his £30,000 Mercedes. The boot-boy said he wouldn't be able to afford the insurance so Kapo payed it for him. For his part in Birmingham's relegation Kapo earned £1.5million a year - the equilavent of 1 Mercedes a week.
Gaizka Mendieta has been playing the last 2 years in the Middlesborough reserves on £60,000 a week. The last game he played for the first team was December 2006.

Oh, I forgot to say...It's cup final day!!!
The BBC has given the final 5 hours in the schedule including pre-match build up, the actual match and post-most proceedings
Coverage starts at 12:40 and ends at 17:30. It's going to be a great final. I always love cup final day

Go Cardiff could be nice if a team from "the premeriship" won FA cup, and even better a team from Wales wins the biggest cup in EnglandxD

Pompey won the FA CupB) 1-0 thanks to a Kanu tap-in and another Enckelman mistake.
Harry's first ever final and his first ever major trophy, he deserved it
also in some strange and disturbing news; Gerald Pique has passed a medical at Barcelon and will join them in the summer for £4million
So, Barcelona sell him and 2 years later buy him back for more than they sold him for. Yet more proof of how amazingly bad they are in the transfer market. He is one of the worst players I have ever seen play for both Barcelona and Manchester United.

Oh well. FCK's season haven't been good then. They're lucky to claim the silver.
