He attacked at the end at least one stage so far. Maybe two but i cant really remember. I dont see why he will stop trying to win a stage. |

Yes he tryed to attack on the second stage. But he was caught really fast..
On the other stages he dropped pretty early. And after what we have seen of him in the Tour and others races that not a Cance in shape. But sure he could try an attack..

Depends on which mood Edvald is in. If he's angry and grumpy, he'll distance the peloton by a couple of minutes. If he's in a generous mood, maybe he'll give some lucky guy the stage win. |

aparantly pettachi sat up going round the last corner, causing the 6 sec gap and stopping anyone behind him from challenging for victory

The riders was not satisfied with the downhill on the satge yesterday where many of riders reached speeds above 100 km/h JJ Heado is to be the one that went fastest with 117 km/h really crazy speed.
On another note 8/9 Astana riders will wear a jersey with no sponsor name on it, because they are grumpy about not getting their wage.

The kit does have names on. Trek, Nike and one of the Kazach businesses have paid. Those names are in full colour, the other ones are very very lightly coloured.

Current status on race is: that Huzarski, Facci, Klimov and Isaichev has a lead of 7 minutes on the pack, and they've just passed through the border into Switzerland.

Astana should just wear the Discovery Channel Jersey from 07! Best jersey ever!

Here's Astana's protest jersey
Looks like they've just faded out all the Kazakh sponsors. |

Can anyone actually foil the sprinters on the descent? I doubt it, but let's watch

GC times will be taken 3km from the finish instead of at the finish, due to the horrible weather at the very very dangerous finish in Chiavenna (there's weird turns, roundabouts, the road is very narrow, etc.)

While nothing's happening on the stage, I'm re-watching the 2006 Giro DVD
1. A Jamaican flag on a climb...:WTF?
2. Phil Liggett is quite brilliant
"And Di Luca's starting to look like he might be subjected to some sort of pressure very soon" (The TV was filming Di Luca who had been dropped ages ago and was far far behind)

The organizers have a certain amount of cars, which they deem necessary.
Other than that, each team has their own car. In time trials, they have as many as necessary to follow each one of their riders.

I miss graphic of where in the stage they are. That is a good thing with the tour broadcast.
The pace in the group seem to be high chasing down the breakaway and they seem to have the aim to catch them as close to the "summit" as possible so noone can make a counterattack before the descent and the breakaway will not have enough time to be able to stay away during the downhill. |
