Was I the only one who saw an other facial-expression on Rasmussen, clearly the TT yesterday exhausted him quite a lot, but hes so damn strong in the mountains. Interesting battle between Contador and Rasmussen. |

Is Rasmussen likely to bother with the KOM or is it likely he won't bother since it might impact his ability to hold on to the yellow?
Soler and Barloworld suit the Polkadot Jersey - Red and White, seems fitting . |

I'm not entirely sure if Rasmussen can keep this up in the Pyrenees. Blimey, I hope he does, but it took a lot out of him yesterday, and he's got to do that every single day. He'll struggle
Although what a rider he will be if he can

Rasmussen is obviously focusing on Yellow, but i think he'll try to keep onto Polka Dot if he possibly can

Contador was completely pissed. says Rasmussen promised him the stage win if he'd work for him and that close to the end Rasmussen attacked.
he also says that after the finish he confronted Rasmussen who denied ever promising anything.
what an attitude
aaaaaand we have Vino in the breakaway today...not that anybody cares.
Pereiro tried but was brought back immediately

Do you reckon the break will make it?
Who do you think will win if it does?
Sitting on the fence, my answers are maybe, and then any out of these lot, if the break makes it of course: Michael Albasini (Liquigas), Benoît Vaugrenard (Française Des Jeux), Denis Menchov (Rabobank), Serguei Ivanov (Astana), Alexander Vinokourov (Astana), Christian Vande Velde and Kurt-Asle Arvesen(Team CSC), Christian Knees (Milram), George Hincapie (Discovery Channel), Patrice Halgand (Crédit Agricole), Daniel Navarro (Astana), Nicolas Portal and David Arroyo (Caisse d'Epargne), Kim Kirchen (T-Mobile), Ludovic Turpin (Ag2r Prévoyance), Javier Vila and Daniele Bennati (Lampre-Fondital), Laurent Lefèvre (Bouygues Telecom), Iñigo Landaluze, Rubén Pérez and Haimar Zubeldia (Euskaltel-Euskadi), Juan Manuel Gárate (Quickstep-Innergetic), Juan José Cobo (Saunier Duval-Prodir), Bernhard Kohl (Gerolsteiner) and Johann Tschopp (Bouygues Telecom)

Plateau de Beille:
Armstrong 2002 = 45'43"
Armstrong 2004 = 45'30"
Contador 2007 = 44'08"
Pantani 1998 = 43'30"
Contador and Rasmussen climbed 1'30 faster than Lance Armstrong in his best years |

my god that breaks HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!
it could make it, i can't see a team without a rider in there, so i don't see anyone wanting to chase
if it does make it there will be some attacks on the final climb, i won't even guess who

The guys in bold I think are capable of winning this stage or atleast get a podium spot (Portal lives in Pau thats why I see him as a fav)

just got back. how can the break have that advantage....wow
with the final being downhill, they may just win it.
also, pay attention to what Ruben said before, I think it's worthy of a good look. |

nobody's interested in chasing. the win will most likely go to the break. go Zubeldia.
considering Smoothie is unfortunately undergoing surgery, I'll have to take on his role:
"Go Valverde!! we love you!!"
there. Now I feel dirty for saying that
