Sorry for the double-post, but since you said you've completed the TDU, why not give us the review?

Well, I haven't finished it yet since the Tour de Langkawi starts before the TDU ends. But I figured that I will simply have to sim Langkawi and hope that the other races work fine. So I think this should continue soon...

Oh lord ...
I guess I have to revise that statement ...
Completely uncomprehensibly, that bullsh*t starts to happen at the Tour Down Under as well. It seems like the savegame is completely corrupted.
I really don't see myself being motivated to do all the editing once again and with PCM12 coming, I also have a very interesting new story idea which I'm quite enthusiastic for. I don't really want to announce the end of this story, but it feels a bit like it's on its deathbed and only a miracle could save it ...

It would be sad to see Dominik's time in the story section come to an end, but I completely understand where you are coming from!
Its hard to keep a story like this going and at this quality for over 12 months straight! It takes up a lot of time, and I myself have wanted to make a switch to a story a little more relaxing!
I enjoy playing many careers in PCM, but I have not had the time to play anything other than my David career!
That said, you are one of the best story writers ever on this site, so if or when you decide to start a new story, I will be there to follow as I'm sure many others will as well.
The way this seems to be ending is "tragic" but I personally believe that even like this, it will finish as the best One Rider story on the website!

Seriously, its sad to hear about those issues you are having with your save.... like others already said, this will be one of the best one rider stories here even when its finished... hope to see you again with another story...i´ll follow it for sure.

As sad as it is to say, I think this might be a good time to end this story. It was truly legendary, you have achieved so much, but it seems you don't have the motivation. If it was to end now, I think we can all agree it was truly amazing and we can't complain at all. Well done.
What I'm happy to say though, is if you have a good story idea, we all know it will be awesome and we will all follow intently.
No matter what you do, I want to congratulate you on this incredible story, and to say that I am excited about whatever it is you choose to do is a huge understatement.

It's really sad to see this great story come to an end. It was really nice to keep up with Dominik's development. Still, i think he will be back with an even bigger project. |
