CITY fans are being forced to play the waiting game over their dreams of Europe and the future of Sven-Goran Eriksson.
The Premier League are hoping to rush through delegates' reports as quickly as possible to determine whether the Blues or Fulham have benefited from the Fair Play League berth in next season's UEFA Cup.
A decision on the complicated formula that covers five key areas could be made public as early as today with City still hot favourites despite skipper Richard Dunne's sending off in the 8-1 debacle at Middlesbrough.
Boro have played down the crowd trouble at the end of the match and that is now unlikely to be a significant part in the outcome.
There has, however, been some confusion over when the Fair Play league table ended.
UEFA took April 30 as their cut-off point but the Premier League decided to wait until the end of the season to decide their nominee.

if they managed to draw away to bayern munich and the win 4-1 against them they was never a doubt that they would win but its true that ranger did very well to get in the final
Well, I wanted Rangers to win, even though I was pissed at the way they went so far without deseving it in the least.
the reason? Zenith's fans are extremely racist, and that's one thing I can't stand.

I should really put this in the "funny" topic, because it really is laughable. I promise this is worth a read. Come with me and read a tale of bias
Now that the documents that "support" the decision of docking Porto points have been released, let's examine the "evidence", shall we?
Porto were docked 6 points, 3 from each of two games.
1st game - Porto was leading the league and played at home against one of the bottom teams in the league. The title was pretty much assured no matter what happened. Porto were by all means scandalously robbed in that game, there's simple no denying for anyone who remembers it. I remember it despite it being a few years ago. That's how bad it was. On one occasion, some random player made what looked like a three-footed tackle on Conceição, breaking his leg. the referee waved play on.
The "evidence" for Porto having bought the referee is the following: The Porto president's ex-wife, whose painful and non-friendly break-up has been well publicised said so to a newspaper.
She was never called into court to state anything, there was nothing else. She just said so to a newspaper. Apparently the word of a bitter ex-wife who gets dumped is the allmighty truth
2nd game: At home against the bottom placed team with the title mathematically assured, yet we failed to win. Apparently we also "bought" the referee here. The "evidence" for this is that the Porto president called the referee before the game and wished him "good luck".
Apparently, in the court's understanding, "good luck" means "I'll pay you a handsome sum if you assure that my team wins", for some reason...
I could go on about how Benfica are doing everything possible to get this to UEFA to try to get Porto banned from the CL next season (so that Benfica can step in as a replacement), but I'll stop here.
Sounds like something off a mexican soap opera, right?

The 2nd match was away in Aveiro with Beira-Mar btw... You must remember that one... We had 2 clear penalties that were turned into yellow cards for diving...
Oh, and Benfica can't take FC Porto's place in the CL... Their president actually gave an "expensive present" to a linesman in the Naval-Benfica match... The linesman said so in court but somehow, everyone on the court wasn't paying atention when he said it so, no charges for Benfica... By comun sense, their chairman should be charged with the same crime that FC Porto were charged... I'll shut up now, before the secret services take me away... And no, I'm not kidding... Or am I? Oh god, they're here... So long...
Aalborg BK secured the danish championship yesterday evening, after a 2 goal win against Brøndby IF.
I know 13.000 Danes can't compete against 40.000 Brits on Old Trafford, or something like that, but I've never tried something like the atmosphere was yesterday. I was shouting, jumping and singing through the entire game. How great! B)
Now, there's 2 match days to relax and celebrate the gold on Aalborg Stadion.
