I was a little worried when Rein lost 30 sec in tt but it seems that he has sacrificed some tt form to be a better climber.

Looks like he is ready for he's first GT..possible Vuekta starter. I dont expect nothing..but it is nice to see how can he take GT..
Vuelta is best place to start..himself he told at the spring that GT is just to much for him..he is at the moment max. 6 day tour rider..will see. |

Funny, a few days ago I said Taaramae will win the GC, but I thought he would do it in the TT. Now he does it in the final mountain stage. Still I predicted the winner right  |

He is more and more changed from TT rider to climber..
After race comment..: Boss send me few days ago message.. with win you will get nice bonus.
You are better then Moncoutie?...No..not even close yet. Moncoutie is "lonely wolf"..he takes small pay check..and will get liberty to race how he likes..
one more year in Cofidis?...Yep team has been nice..dont have pushed to race all the time. They know and accept that my time is ahead.
Condition is ready for Vuelta

Horner states on his Twitter that he was fine until 3k to go where the "vacation" he took during Tour hurt him.
Ready for Vuelta, I think he will do decently. |

Yeah, Monier 3rd was crazy. He used to be an average tt-er but now he can climb. I would like to see what happened, can anyone tell me where i can find a video of the last climb.

It happens like that all the time. Take Stef Clement, ok he was awfull in the Tour (had his peak in Dauphine), but in Dauphine he was 13th and apart from the long flight everytime a decent climber (top 20). Where he used to finish in the bus the years before.
A lot of tt-ers (not the Grabsch ones, but the smaller built ones) have the ability to climb when they really focus on it |

Well that's something that happens often in our home Tour. Every year we see riders following wrong trajectories in roundabouts, dangerous turns in sprint-finishing stages and stuff like that... Last year we even saw the whole peloton riding their way back because the directeur's car took the wrong way
Anyway I didnt see the whole stage so I'm not aware of what happened in the final 35kms

It was awesome, they had to go between spectators who were shocked and through tents.
Btw Hondo won with a huge gap of 3-4 bike lengths in front of Barbosa. |

The stages this year were too hard for Petacchi and the other sprinters. Only the best climbing sprinters like Manuel Cardoso were able to hang on.
Chuzhda won the flattest stage in a breakaway.
Tomorrow....whatever you do, be sure not to miss the stage.
