Very, very surprisingly, Alberto Ongarato is now back with Petacchi, since Ongarato has signed with LPR
Are those two in love or something? |

And Gabriele Balducci has decided to end his career, mainly due to heart problems. |

Bartoli probably to ISD, but he can only compete in June (missing the classics) due to the 6 month UCI rule of anti doping controls:

Nah, if Armstrong can avoid the rule, so can Bartoli and everyone else.
That was certainly the mistake of the year by UCI: to allow Armstrong to compete despite the rule. If he's allowed to, why shouldn't everyone else be? |

Because Armstrong is Armstrong...
Anyway Armstrong was only a Weak or two late. 2-3 mounths is way diffrent that than 1-2 weaks.!

It doesn't matter. Either, you have a rule, or you don't have a rule. And either, that rule counts, or it doesn't count. |

Yes, there is leeway though. Saying that you can go over by a certain number of days if you provide a legitimate decision. I check this with the chairman of my club who is a UCI official, |

But surely a drug ban is going to be unheld rather than a retirement isnt that the point you are all missing. |

Ofcourse it matter.. Then why some dopeheads get 1 years and some 2 years? Thats just the way it is. Why dont all get 1 years when some dopeheads get it, if they snitch or not!
You cant compare 2-3 mounths with 1-2 weaks..!

Smitho: They both retired, none of them were caught despite both being obvious dopers
Biathlon: You can't compare this with doping. There's a reason for limited bans for some people -- they've helped finding other dopeheads, therefore they get a reduced sentence.
Why does Armstrong get a dispensation? Because he's Armstrong? Not exactly the best excuse, is it? |

Yes but most of the people who get caught in doping, lies and talk bull just to reduce the penalty..
And Armstrong is a legend + he is doing it for a good cause.
