Wait you can update a riders stat by 19? I thought the progression was rather too slow than too fast.
No it doesn't matter, they are just included because it would have been an extra effort for me to remove them.
Okay, thanks.
It seems like non-climbers MO stat increases a lot if you give them the mountain training. The rest are fine, possibly a bit too slow indeed. It doesn't matter too much, I'd like to think people aren't stupid enough to waste their points making hopeless climbers into average ones. I just found it hilarious that I could improve a Pot 4 rider that much in one go. I didn't actually select that one btw, would be ridiculous.
There are some serious improvements in my Dev Team, really looking forward to seeing how they get on, especially if people like Matthews, Howard and Durbridge piss off.

When I type in the new age in AoD nothing really happens. Just a 1 and 256 on an outer column. Anything else to fill in?

I was surpriseed by which riders got what number of progession points, didn't seem to match up to the criteria at all on a couple of guys (you'd be shocked at how few points Kelderman got!). Also their were more than 7 training plans. Plus the suggested plan was funny as hell on the young riders, often saying i should boost their non-best specialization, but that isn't a problem just found it amusing.
I guess Kelderman is one of the guys that were hit the most by those formulas preventing too much riders going into the red average. If he hasn't got much points, then I'm afraid that he has already reached his max.
I didn't say there were only 7 training plans, those are just the basic ones based on how Cyanide calculates the average.
You can't blame me for some weird training plans suggested, like I said they are based on as which type of rider Cyanide describes a rider.
@brewers: Perrett is one of the riders with the most progress points, hence those huge stat increases. For other riders the progress is not that extreme. |

If the age of decline is 34 it costs you 1 point I guess. No idea why there is a 256.. |

Well Jesleyh doesn't have him so that's something (rider for sale if anyone wants ... I'm gonna have a wildly different team...)

I read it as there were 7 plans (numbered 1-7) so when i found out i was just a bit surprised (not that 8-12 are particularly interesting).
I don't blame or complain about the suggestions, just shows that the way Cyanide decides specializations (as we do know) is a bit f*cked. Also rewards people for actually thinking and taking a bit of time to do this.

I am pretty shocked that Kwiat won't improve in I and II stats. Damn, he's so young! But my dev team will get a huge improvement. The youngsters are coming
EDIT: Now that I did it, I'm kinda sad how slowly my guys improve.

Another impressive spreadsheet
Though I'm surprised to see my highest point-scorer Rojas not develop at all despite not being old...

Shame Degenkolb doesn't progress after a good season, but I don't make the rules. Happy with other riders progress though. |

finally made some time to do this so I have a opinion now too .
bit bummed that LuLu doesn't progress, at all. well he's already 31 years old so that why it wasn't really shocking. that Kiserlovski had so little progression points (and only in secondare and tertiary) did surprise me however. he's only 28 . quite happy with Majka and other guys I won't get into much detail now
that means I'm finally done with the first season ready for the next

Okay guys I'm just thinking about what teams go into the WT. 10 WT teams of the first season signed up again + the best three CT Teams would make 13 WT teams already.
That means 5 more spots are open. I need your oppinion on how to fill them. Either I base my decisions fully on the rankings then Fiskars, Fred Whitton, Ecopetrol, Smartone and Swisslife would get those spots.
The other option would be to base my decisions on nationality. We wouldn't have WT teams from cycling nations like France, Italy or Netherlands with the WT teams from there folding. For Italy we'd have Gazetta to take a spot, for France one of the new teams would move up and for the Netherlands we have two teams from Belgium already in the WT with one of them being likely to sign some dutchmen. In that scenario some better placed teams from last season would stay in CT despite being better. |

I think new teams should generally start in the CT where they can prove first that they wanna stay with the game and that they deserve WT status.
I prefer giving the chance to the teams that were better in the rankings as the best teams should be part of the WT.
Alternatively, you could give 2/3 teams the spot for their good ranking position and give the other 2/3 spots through wildcards to teams which had active managers last season (and would fit country-wise to you).
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

I'd also say that countries shouldn't bother us too much as the riders will be signed anyway. As knockout said, it would probably best if you decide based on points and overall activity.

Points and activity, anything else is kind of unfair

If it helps as a new boy I would prefer to start in the CT and earn my place in the WT. |

Yep, basing it on anything but success and/or activity would just be strange. On a different point, I'll have my progress files in on monday, when I'm back, I hope.

Okay then just the best CT teams turn WT that's the easiest way:
So far 31 managers have signed up, that's two less than in the first season. If no more will join, I'll add two unmanaged teams with a smaller budget. |
