SSJ2Luigi: His level of riding certainly suggest so...
Ian: Well, we all knew he has it in him
Miguel: Guess they learned the last time that the steak-excuse wasn't quite good enough And something tells me it's a slightly different virus Cadel has
sutty: Sadly so...

I take it that you're going to make Contador retire?

Tour de l'Ain
Sylvester Szmyd took the GC lead on stage 4 by being in a break, which were given quite a margin by the other teams.
That allowed Magnus Cort to get in another break, which were being allowed to get away with quite a gap as NetApp was having a hard time chasing over the hills. In the end Magnus took the stage win on the only mountain top finish of the race.
On the last stage we put on the pressure right from the start and NetApp had nothing to put in the chase. Unfortunately Rabobank just realized that they had raced 5 stages without showing the jersey once, so they completely dominated the stage eliminating all attacks on behalf of Szmyd, but at least they were rewarded with a stage win for Kelderman
Chris and Willy came as preparation for San Sebastian and the Vuelta. Looks like they're ready...

Jakstar: Thanks. Though the stages turned out a bit weird with a lot of WT-teams looking for NetApp to do all the work
sutty: They did. Especially considering they were mainly there to sharpen their form for San Sebastian (which will be up shortly)

Clásica San Sebastian
This is in many ways one of the most open classics of the season. The winner has to be a decent climber while still having a good bit of punch. Chris Anker Sørensen will be our captain, but we can’t expect him to win a sprint…
Carlström is eager to show his face in these last couple of months of his career so he goes in the early break along with Le Mével and Quintero knowing that this will not be a decisive break.
With 100 km to go the peloton is in one piece leas by Vacansoleil – DCM riding for Valverde.
That’s too boring for Gustav so he attacks. No one else wants to join him, so it will not be an easy ride for the Swede.
At the top of Jaizkibel he has four minutes to the peloton and 90 km to goal.
He loses a lot of time on the second pass as both ISD – Ferrari and Astana have decided to help in the chase. 2’45’’ will not be enough, but at least the main favourites have had to use their domestiques a lot early on.
On the small climb 20 km from the finish everything turns in to an attacking frenzy. Ulissi, Gasparotto and Rodríguez get a gap of 17 seconds to seven riders and a further 27 seconds to a 50 rider group where our main riders are placed.
They are reeled back in and in the second round Chris is right there with the attackers.
Ulissi is first into the last 5 km. Evans, Antón, Costa, Gilbert and Chris follow 9 seconds after with the main group a further 20 seconds behind.
With 2 km to go it looks like a sprint between 36 riders.
1,5 km. Chris is in 5th position trying to stick to Gasparottos wheel.
600 m. Gasparotto is in front with Chris hanging on to his wheel nicely.
Purito is coming from behind and it’s time for Chris to give it his last punch.
Suddenly out of nothing Cunego shows his face for the first time today to take the win, but Sørensens 6th place is much better than we had expected.
Great job by the entire team to bring him in this situation!

sutty: It was. It seems our strategy of making the race hard via breakaway and thus making the sprint come down to energy just as much as sprint-skills was correct
