Now it's a REAL MTF. To bad we lost Anton today, because here he could have destroyed the other's.

This stage can be pretty entertaining to watch IMO. Just a shame that Anton is out...

Antón being out really REALLY sucks, but you can be sure the the lakes are ALWAYS entertaining

I really, really hope Rodriguez can keep this level and Mosquera and Tondo are a bit better on the longer climbs. Otherwise this Vuelta isn't much exciting as it looks.
Bah, it really really really sucks Anton dropped out |

you think that Nibali already won? Not yet..he almost fell over after a finish today..almost same with Rodriquez after weird celebration.
Mosquera at least will survive over 3 weeks..

My hope is Tondo.. If not, it's got to be Mosquera or Rodriguez.

But Rodriguez will most certainly collapse (and has a stinking bad TT, even compared to Anton) and Mosquera must already make up 50s plus get a bonus of at least 3 minutes
It's impossible. |

What a shame for Antón :S
I agree with Guido Mukk, you have to think about the recuperation factor and there are more resistent riders than Nibali and RodrÃguez... |

Probably the first time I agree with you about Anton, that sucks - and I would hate Nibali winning it, my hopes are on Fränk an Tondo |

Don't be sure about Nibali winning this, I'm starting to think that Tondo might be the man for the overall win after today. Was it 56 seconds he was behind Nibali?
I'll rate him as a better climber than Nibali on the mountains that's left, tomorrow and Monday are stages that should suit him perfect. And Cotobello isn't bad for him neither......
The problem is that he has to drop Nibali, most likely with an acceleration, and it should be interesting to see if he has that acceleration. Or maybe Sastre can pace like he has never done before, and Nibali blows away on one of the stages.
It's a shame Anton is out, judging by the stages so far, he would have won this Vuelta, easy. But this definately opened the GC, at least in my mind. Eventhough it might only be a two-horse battle, that depends a little on how much Mosquera will need on Nibali/Tondo for the TT. |

Can`t watch it here, no tv and bad internet |

Anton's crash really sucks - for the race, and most of all for him.
Points classification wise, it boosts the hopes of Cavendish. At the start of the day Cavendish led Anton by 36 - and that could well have dropped to 11 - but instead, he now leads Nibali by 37 and Rodriguez by 38. Neither are likely to be as consistent as Anton may have been - so Cavendish does now have a decent chance at the jersey, so long as he makes the most of the 2/3 remaining stage finish opportunties for him.

Bruseghin fell according to Cycling News. No one else that I know of. |
