Must be photoshopped. We all know that Wiggins or anyone else at Sky would never ever violate the doping rules.

That actually has some substance to it with the plaster on his arm, unless its some sort of patch (I can't exactly tell from the picture).
Either way they apparently today have to sign an 'Anti-Doping Pledge' which means they must declare that they never doped or they will be thrown out of the squad. To be honest, its a pretty shit way to reinforce confidence in the whole 'Sky isn't doping' scenario.

Isn't that what Astana did?
Of course we know nobody on that team tested positive that year.........*cough* vinoklodenmazzolenikesslerkashechkin

"He" actually scored fewer points in '07 than Gilbert did last year or J-Rod did this year |

Not seen that before. Seems a bit low on the arm for an injection tho, usually if thats going uppeer up its more central. During TTs you often have your elbows hooked around bars, I guess maybe he nnicked himself on the bars.
Would be interesting to here sky official explanation though, as even a minor injury like that should be recorded.
The anti dopee pledge is just silly though. Its a symptom of the british media though, they havve to jump through hoops to 'proove' they are better then those cheating foriegners. |

And Katusha did something similar too. |

It rather looks like he's had a blood check.
Doping products are generally injected in the bum.
IIRC it was Lhotellerie who explained that he soon learnt that there are four zones on each side of your ass, and that depending on the product you were using you had to use a particular zone to maximise the effects. |

You just ruined my lunch, thanks
Doesn't every rider have to sign they're not using drugs already though? I remember there was a fuss about it before the Tour a few years ago?

This is SAD - so very very sad.
This is what those cheats have done to a wonderful sport - they have made it impossible for anyone to win and EVERYONE (riders, teams, sponsor and fan) to loose.
I gave up reading this after several comments that accuse with no proof, NO EVIDENCE. Just because a rider won this race - HE TAKES DRUGS. No doubt, no questions, no ability just cheating.
Please do not allow the (present day) FEW cheats to ruin a great sport. Stop blaming riders and start at the top - UCI. They have a lot to answer for, then look at the organisers that want herculean efforts and drama from human beings.
Then look at YOURSELF for not asking questions sooner and lobbying to get rules changed and break up the power base that runs this sport for THEIR benefit.
My position: I am against ALL drugs and enhancements. I understand the argument that if theyre pro's let them do what they want. That will filter down the sport, how long before the up and coming HAVE to use drugs to impress the boss and get a contract.
Also if we allow drugs how long before (for example) a clever lawyer agues that his client doesnt take drugs so he should be allowed to use... (insert the next form of assistance that scientist invent) to compete on a level playing field.
Dont add to the crap that is going on at present - if you dont have anything positive to say - SHUT UP. |

Blood check would make sense. I guess it logical thaat sky would test/sample their riders over and beyond the official checks since they are so anti-'drugs (someone said its not an offical test as theres no record of it)
Although, I thought everyone that podiumed at the olympics had to go through drug control and isnt that picture after the ott? In which case he would have had blood taken for testing and storage. |

I believe its a screen cap from an interview during the Tour.
EDIT: Although having read some of his other articles he has a general dislike of Wiggins and Brailsford.

There seems to be a massive amount of people that dont like them tbh. I dont really know much about brailsford other then the standard team pr stuff I hear from him like you do all people in those positions.
And with wiggins, its really odd. His always come across as a humble, honest guy that loves riding a bike for a living. Personally I think his one of the more likkable peronalities in the peleton.
If sky are doping, its not blood or drugs. It might be fair to argue that they are finacially doping though. |

That article is absolutely dreadful, much like most of the author's tweets.
Of course Wiggins was tested after the ITT ffs. Ludicrous to say otherwise |
