Thus, the season was a failure. But some few highlights like Rollin's win at Gent-Wevelgem made the season bearable.

Started as the top favorite for promotion, they could only achieve 4 wins. While decent in World Tour races, they weren't good and constant enough on continental ground to even come close to promotion.

Felline is really talented but can't replace Leukemans yet. With Van Avermaet and Boom, Vacansoleil loses two experienced and skilled riders.

If all those strong riders finally manage to unleash their potential, the promotion should be a very realistic goal.

@sutty I know, it's a shame! But they just didn't have enough good results... Looking at the squad, though, I think it's possible they promote directly again.

@johannes-w Thanks Indeed, I put a lot of time into this, but it's great fun and I enjoy doing it. About the transfers, I decided to do them on my own completely this time. I like the team compositions a lot better this way. But the Vino-to-Ag2r-one was actually made by PCM and I though, yeah, why not Evans, on the other hand, transfered to Euskaltel. Not quite what I wanted ^^
