The belgian guy from Quick Step that went to Rabo was Wynants, not Weylandt, if I can still remember. |

Strange. It was said in August that he renewed his contract for 2 years with Garmin.
But seems to be perfect to Movistar. |

As Isso has already mentioned, Vaughters was trying to get rid of a few of his contracted riders, so that he could sign more of Cervelo's riders.
It wouldnt surprise me if this is one of the reasons why Fischer has now gone elsewhere

Riis just finally confirmed that Cancellara is leaving Saxo Bank in the interview after the stage in the vuelta - it seemed like a "healthy break"
Rumours are that Fabian/His new employers are paying up toward 3 million euros to release him from hsi contract.
Edit: Riis also mentioned Nick Nuyens - and hinted that he'll be signed.

Fits in nicely with Movistar (the sponsor)'s demand to have a Colombian, an Argentinian, a Brazillian and a Mexican on the team.

It's insane, how as a professional team you can lose:
A. Schleck, F. Schleck, F. Cancellara, M. Breschel, J. Voigt, J. Fuglsang & S. O'Grady in one season
And still stand in fron to f the camera and say: We'll have a very strong team next year

Well they have Contador and this is probably enough to win several races plus TdF. So it is still a strong team, maybe not as strong as this year, where they had good results in almost every race they participated. |

Also, he must have a lot of money to buy new riders with all those big names leaving. He could still buy som great riders, and maybe he already has without us knowing. |

I just hope Cancellara won't end up at BMC. Please, let it be Katusha! |

What i'm thinking is that Saxo bank has been winning races all season long the last couple of years. If they haven't won 'em they've had riders challenging for top honors. It'll surely be a different game now |

No matter how you look at it, Saxo Bank 2011, will NOT be as strong as Saxo Bank 2010. They have lost a ton of spring classic podiums.

Well evidently the sponsor thinks otherwise, and wants the Tour de France victory. It took the signing of Contador to allow them to renew - they werent content with the Schlecks, Cancellara, Breschel, Voigt etc

And i get that. I'm not looking at this from a sponsors standpoint, but from a "fan" standpoint. They've lost so many top class riders - and Fuglsang/Breschel are the two biggest talents we've got. I'm just saying that it's a less interesting team next year - for now - let's see what kinda dust Riis will kick up on the market the next few weeks. Nuyens is a good start, and a good ridertype for Riis' team. |

Rogers to Sky apparently.
I'm happy for Fly V. I was afraid that in trying to sign the talented australians they'd sign the two loudmouth moronic jackasses who think they're god's gift to the world....instead one is going to Sky and the other to the luxembourg team, so Fly V is down to the nice guy australians (not that they've signed many of them, for now)
Sucks for Sky though.
God Rogers pisses me off. Break a leg Mike. Literally.
I'm surprised though, that Sky would sign a guy whose entire public stance on doping is "Stop talking about it, pretend it doesn't exists LA LA LA LA". It fits right in with Bruyneel's philosophy, but not Sky's. Odd.
