bugger, bad year so far for the brits, we do have guys in the top few GC, maybe we can take that from Agirtubel tomorrow.
As i've said all along, it's where the race will be decided.

Going to see the stage today at Drumlanrig Castle - I think it's fair to say the winner will likely have a great chance of overall victory as well. That's if a rider can break free in the harsh, windy conditions!

it has to be better than last year's hats - their bucket shape only really fits over my dog's head well...
I did like the water bottles they gave away last year though...hopefully they'll do them again. And nothing says chic like a pink plowman craven cotton cap - I want another one of them too

they're like sombraros this year, and waterproof. Plus come in their own bag with a larnyard.
Plus OS are giving out stage maps to everyone too. Got my one with one side the London map, the other side a TOB poster.

Cavendish got owned by Van Poppel 8) What a great sprinting talent. Also Van Stayen (a belgian, but still) finished 2nd.
Rabo CT dominating as usual

Not really good quality but ok. van Poppel had half a bikelength but place 2, 3, 4 where much closer.

Are you on crack? Cav was in the break for 80 miles then dropped back to the bunch and he was badly positioned.
Plus it was an uphill sprint.

McEwen won the Paris-Brussels. Was a good race actually, watched it all before the Vuelta coverage and swapped over to see the last 5km

Great to see the portuguese Rui Costa in 2º so close to he winner. Bakelandts will be with Quickstep next year. Hope Rui Costa also goes to a Pro Tour team to develop, gives me hope that Portugal can have another great rider after Azevedo.
