Daggen: So do I, but with a mountain TT and Paris left it will not be easy...
sutty: Much more than we had expected. Now time to secure them.
Jakstar: We'll see how the race turns out. A stage win with Thor in Paris would surely be beautiful.
Miguel98: It should be faily safe with a max of 65 points left to win and 61 points lead, but there's always the risk of a dog running out on to the road

Nice riders you have signed for next year.
The team is doing a really good job

Tour de France
Stage 20: Bossost – Mont Majou (ITT)
A rather untraditional TT with two big climbs and a descent.
Thomas Riis puts in the best TT he has ever raced. Catching Johan Vansummeren on the line and setting best provisional time is great for the young Dane. Then it doesn’t matter that he has no chance whatsoever of taking the stage when the day is over…
One of the absolute biggest favourites for todays stage is the British champion Bradley Wiggins. On the second intermediate he is 57 seconds faster than Cancellara, who holds second best time.
Another rider with a surprisingly good day is Hushovd, who cuts 41 seconds of Riis’ time in goal.
That’s still 1’27’’ slower than Wiggins though
Löfkvist have borrowed the dots from Contador, but a small miracle is needed to actually win it considering that there’s 40 pts for todays winner and only 1 point tomorrow. He gives it all he has passing by Tony Martin on his way to provisinal best time.
This must be a weird feeling for Gesink. Getting passed by Andy Schleck on a Time-trial…
Andy holds best intermediate time ahead of Nibali, Fränk Schleck and Gesink on both splits and crushes his brother and Löfkvist in goal.
But Contador is having a brilliant day as well beating Andy on both intermediates and almost catching up with Nibali before the finish.

Stage 21: Rambouillet – Paris Champs-Élysées
Well the GC and the mountain jersey are pretty much secured for Contador and White should be safe for Jesper as long as he stays on his bike. With a max of 65 sprint points and a lead of 61 points we just have to stay focused to keep the green jersey on Norwegian shoulders.
After a long Tour helping the team Thomas Riis really wanted to get in the TV-break early on. He has done a great job, so of course I let him go. On the way he picks up the last KOM of the race and the intermediate sprint thus securing the green jersey for the team to great joy for us all!
As they hit Champs Élyssées the break has 3 minutes to the peloton.
30 km to go. The break has 1’18’’ to Gilbert, Pozzato and Cancellara and 2’09’’ to the peloton.
Terrible crash with 15 km to go. Nibali is one of the riders down along with Andy Schleck.
Both get back on their bikes, but will they risk losing their podium spots?
Riis Jr. is really showing himself on this legendary stage, but with 9 km to go he is leading the last group to be caught.
This is really turning into a massacre as another crash takes place in the front of the peloton. That should put Cavendish out of contention for the stage win. A shame the stage has to be decided this way!
With 4 km to go Cancellara holds 12 seconds to Kiryinka, Westra and Vanmacke and a minute to the peloton. No teams seems able to form a proper train in the 47 rider peloton.
We do our best sending Löfkvist on the offense with Thor on his wheel but with less than a km to the line Cancellara still holds a small gap.
He just manage to hold the sprinters off and takes a splendid win on a sad background.

This race has been full of ups and downs for us.
One one hand it is slightly disappointing that Thomas wasn't able to pull off at least a top 20. Had we realized earlier that he couldn't do that we probably would have changed tactics and started chasing the dots earlier on, but he got his chance to rider GC in the Tour. Next time we will probably set some other goals for him if we ever see an equally strong field of riders.
We had also hoped for a top 20 from Jesper, but was mainly focused on the white jersey, which was planned to be the big goal of his season. In spite of the weak competition he put in a massive effort to take the jersey, and probably would have placed one or two places higher in the GC had he not acted as domestique for Löfkvist as soon as he was last U25-rider left in the peloton.
And then there is of course the magnificent Thor. Two stages and the green jersey was much more than we had expected. Our sponsors wanted us to hold green for at least a day, but when Thor gets his hands on green he doesn't want to let it go. He really proved that he is still one of the strongest riders in the peloton. And you should have seen Cavendish when he didn't get to go on the podium in Paris. Not the best atmosphere on the Vodafone team right now...

It has been a great tour for the team, I think. No GC Top 20, but 2 jerseys and multiple stage-wins!
Strange to see Cancellara winning the last stage
I like the Dutch influence in the Top 10 btw

Jesleyh: It has been a great tour in deed. Just a little bit angry at myself for sticking to plan A (GC) for too long before starting to chase the mountain jersey. Picking up three jerseys with three different riders would be even more spectacular (that's one for the future...).
The Dutchmen here have really turned in to top-class climbers. Guess it helps when they don't crash all the time
Perhaps now would be a good time to invite people to make input concerning my reports. To big/small, how are the screenshots and general layout etc.

I think the reports are fine, really. It was an exciting Tour and the team did brilliant work! That final stage was quite chaotic, it seems |

Ian: Thanks. The last stage was very chaotic in deed. The only 52-rider peloton underlines that nicely. All teams lost too many riders to control anything - and then Cancellara grabs his chance...
sutty: He really did, and two jerseys in the bag really is great. And thanks
