Where is global warming now??
HERE! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT WE WERE TOLD WAS GOING TO HAPPEN.
*calms down*
the melting ice caps destroys the Gulf Stream, the current of water that makes the British Isles warmer. Without it, we'd be as cold a Canada, and that's the change that's happening.
But Greenland had the one of the warmest winters in a long time last year. Doesn't really go well with your theory as Greenland is also affected by the Gulf Stream. Though it will have an effect on a longer scale it isn't what is happening right now.
The weather in europe is determinated by placement of high and low pressure weather systems in the atlantic. This winter so far and last winter they have been off to their "normal" placements and has given us colder weather, they can also be off and give us warm winters. And also cold winters will often give warmer winters in Greenland and Canada, which we saw last year with Vancouver being about +5C for most of the winter olympics last year. Two cold winters are not a sign of a new ice age. It is an abnormality that can easily be explained. The same thing happened in the early 80's on an even greater scale and no ice age came.
I just realised you weren't totally serious. But I still feel like posting this to all.

I think keeping "it" unshaved will keep it looking more mammoth-like.

Enjoy.

Well spoken, coming from someone that didn't see yesterday's eclipse. (I'll stop)
Most importantly of all though, is that its finally winter break.
So what is everyone up to for the holidays? Any trips? |
