Stetina was just lucky in a long breakaway, where he got completely owned by Ricardo van der Velde by the way (who won that stage)
I don't think Stetina will last long |

Best stage of the race for the Tour of Britain today, it had everything.
A very strong breakway group including Millar, O'Grady, Botero, Swift, Hayles, Hagen, Lloyd and a couple of others including best placed Ermeti at just under 2 minutes behind Agritubel. So when the gap went up, Agritubel were chasing all day.
Ben Swift looked very comfortable on the climbs as he took full KoM points to take the jersey.
The Agritubel race leader then punctured but since they had the guy 2nd overall, they kept chasing as O'Grady and Hagen went clear in the break. They were brought back for Ermeti and Lloyd to then get away. Lloyd then misjudged a turn and so nearly crashed, Ermeti then attacked to try and take advantage. Lloyd came back and sat in the position of Ermeti's wheel, Ermeti then seemingly tried to make him crash again, criss crossing in front, cutting Lloyd up - Lloyd had to slow to avoid the crash and could never get back to Ermeti who then powered on. It looked a certain win for Ermeti before Hagen charged out of nowhere to take the lead at the win almost on the line.

Agritubel will surely be knackered tomorrow after so much work today and hopefully cummings, stannard or fleeman can get away over the climbs towards the finish

It was a great stage today. I'm so glad Ermeti got beaten and humiliated. Edvald Boasson Hagen rode a brilliant race. Stunning finish. |

Hagen, Goss, Di Luca and Pena had been the days break, its a bit of a surprise that they came so close to being caught at all since none are threats for the GC

yeah, what is there about 10-15 riders within a few minutes, then nobody for 13 minutes. Agritubel don't need to worry at all about them yet.
Personally i think the race winning move will be in Scotland, Liverpool is too flat to win the race there.
