Nice one for Cancellara. No surprises there. Gaudin surprised me today, didn't expect him to be 2nd! |

Feillu surprised me more as he is a horrible TT-er. |

Such a short TT though, Feillu is a good sprinter, so could do well in something that short I guess?

What a bizarre result for Sky. How did they manage not to win that one?! |

Hehe. Don't know. There wasn't a livestream. I just got the result. |

Yeah, me too. I'm looking forward to the explanation from Sky on their website. Looks like their lead-out train worked brilliantly, but they just couldn't finish it off. |

No, but neither was Feillu. So maybe he was still faster than Feillu. |

I've seen the profile of the stage, and there were some hills near the end, but nothing demanding. Probrably Casper didn't do well there. Feillu surprised me, he was showing great form, for me, he was today's favourite. |

Apparantely there was a crash in the run in that took out most of the peloton from the sprint - but the Sky leadout and Galimzyanov survived it - then Galimzyanov was faster than Henderson

That makes sense. Galimzyanov, Henderson and Appollonio finished three seconds ahead of the rest of the field.
Looks like Casper might have had a mechanical by the way, as he finished towards the end of the field.
Sky GC man Chris Froome was another big loser, finishing nearly 6 minutes down on the peloton. |

Henderson explanation for not winning today :
'Prolly one of the scariest finals I have done. @TeamSky were amazing today. I hesitated on which side of wheel to go. He who hesitates...?'
'I goosed it today in the sprint. Waited. Hesitated. For what? No clue. Goosed it. Haha.'

Appollonio won the sprint from the peleton almost 2 minutes down on the winner. Nice to see Gerdemann win. |
