Don't forget Steegmans as well. Seems theyre stacked with sprinters who can take 3rds-10ths but not anyone who can take many wins.
Great story btw, keep it coming! |

While the Vuelta isn´t far away, we still have to participate in an one day classic in France. Because of that, we´ve sent a very strong squad with Monfort and Albasini as team leaders. Siutsou and Velits are also there so we´ve got nice chances for good results. The competition isn´t that strong with Fothen, Fedrigo, Cobo, Le Mevel, Igor Anton and of course Monfort and Albasini. By the way we´re thinking about a Vuelta start by Maxime Monfort
There were some famous names in today´s breakaway with De La Fuente and Reus but they were caught with more than 25 kilometres to go
As Monfort´s shape isn´t really good at the moment, we´ve sent hin on a special trip! Cobo and Ista were following him while Igor Anton and a few more made a move out of the pack
With only 8 kilometres to go, Ista and Cobo were in front but Ista was able to get a little gap to his main rival Cobo
Bad luck for Maxime Monfort as he was crashing 3 kilometres before the race was over. Fortunately he wasn´t injured badly
Ista was unstoppable today. He took a really nice win for his team but where are Albasini and the other favourites?
While Cobo was able to take an easy second place, the chasing group sprinted for the last position on the podium. Albasini was in front when the sprint began
But he wasn´t fast enough to keep it up with Fedrigo and Igor Anton! Finally he finished as 9th..this is not that good we´ve thought about in front of this race

What a weird result, since when Ista wins a PT classic? |

Yes, that´s quite unusual but I´m still happy if we can get a nice Vuelta result |

So with only 2 days to christmas, I would like to show you the top 3 transfers for Columbia!
Today I´ll present you a great time trialist but he´s also a fantastic sprinter and he likes cobblestones! You might know him as a Columbia fan We decided to bring him back to his old team
Let´s welcome Edvald Boasson Hagen

Excellent. HTC in 2011 will be brilliant.
50+ wins should be possible. |

@roturn, 50+ sounds hard but could be possible
It´s the last flat stage in this year´s Eneco Tour, so it´s the last chance for Renshaw to win a stage. But as you know our sprint preperation wasn´t really good in the last days. Boonen and Ciolek might be the biggest favourites as both of them are in a brilliant shape so far. I´m looking forward, if we going to see them at the Vuelta!
Of course the game crashed again! This time, the breakaway dominated the stage until the end. As we were the only team, doing a lot of work in the pack, we had no chance to get them back. It seemed that no sprinter was interested to win that stage. The most famous names in today´s break were Chicchi, Dean and Intxausti. Last one was able to make a final move in the last kilometres. No one went after him so Chicchi and Dean missed the chance to win a stage. We were not interested in a bunch sprint while the break takes many places today! So the next flat stage, where we couldn´t demonstrate our strength. Intxausti won the stage in front of Offredo and Gavazzi

So we finally reached the last stage of the Eneco Tour 2010! Only 13 kilometres left for the winner of this tour Fabian Cancellara. Well, his advantage is too big and by the way he is the best time trialist in this whole world. The last 7 days were not as successful as we hoped before but with a nice result in today´s ITT, we still could be happy
Brajkovic was the first great rider today, crossing the finish line with a budding time! But we didn´t know how good this time would be in the end as there were still 91 rider left. 17 minutes and 39 seconds were to beat for Cancellara&Co
But this time didn´t hold for a long time. Because only 3 riders later our best time trialist Tony Martin came with an amazing ride! He was able to beat Brajkovic by incredible 54 seconds! 16´45 is the new best time
Westra showed a great shape the last weeks just like his team-mate Bobbie Traksel. He wasn´t able to beat Martin but he still got a great time, 17´20
Posthuma came with a great ride, too. But as you can imagine, Martin´s time was unbeatable so far! Posthuma got the same time like Brajkovic in the beginning
Sorry I forgot to take a screen from Bak, our best placed rider in the overall. Well, Boasson Hagen was not reachable for Bak but with only 11 seconds behind the Norwegian we can be quite happy. Finally, Bak finished this tour as 6th in the overall with only 1 second behind Posthuma and 3 seconds to Kirchen! Boasson Hagen also wasn´t able to beat Tony Martin, but with 48 seconds behind the German, he can be happy as he got the third overall position
Last but not least, Fabian Cancellara was on fire! Again he was really fast and , I was sure about his 4th stage win in 8 days. But when he crossed the finish line, Tony Martin was still in front! Fabian Cancellara is beatable! He lost 12 seconds to Martin which is a small miracle..great stage win for Tony Martin!

Hadn't even seen the Hagen signing. That is a really good one and makes me miss the days when I liked their team, but then all the cool riders left. |

La Vuelta a Espana 2010
This year´s route ( Unfortunately it´s the 2009 route)
Well, it´s the last Grand Tour for 2010 so we will try everything to get a last great result in Spain! The season was just amazing with a surprising Giro podium by Tony Martin and of course the incredible Tour win by Maxime Monfort. Because of these great results, we decided to send an allstar-squad to Spain! The team is really strong for this 21 stages. Maxime Monfort is our leader but we don´t know his shape yet. Hopefully he can improve during the Vuelta. If he is not able to fight for a good overall result, we still have Tony Martin, who is in an amazing shape so far! Furthermore we´ve got Siutsou, Pinotti, Lars Ytting Bak, Craig Lewis and Tejay Van Garderen. That´s our ´overall squad´ but there are of course also some flat stages for the sprinters. For this reason we´ve sent a great sprint squad to Spain. Andre Greipel is our sprint captain and he will try to get the sprinter´s jersey just like 2009! The chances for that are great as his lead out man Bernhard Eisel is in a fantastic shape so far. Tony Martin will try to pull the sprints for them.
Let´s talk about the favourites
Radioshack might be the strongest team there with Levi Leipheimer as team leader. Klöden and Brajkovic are his main helper in the mountains but they should be able to get a nice result for theirselves, too.
Furthermore we´ve got Bradley Wiggins, Franco Pellizotti ( the Giro winner), Samuel Sanchez, Carlos Sastre, Mosquera, Joaquim Rodriguez, Damiano Cunego and Luis Leon Sanchez. Of course we would like to add Maxime Monfort or Tony Martin to this register of favourites for the overall win or at least for the podium. The question is, who is going to be the successor of Alejandro Valverde? I´m really looking forward to this great stage race and I hope you will enjoy the stage reports.
