Eto'ooooooooooo.
C. Poulsen isn't a defender. |

If that makes him a defender, all players are defenders
Anyway, Denmark - like France - obviously don't want to be here. 2 goals given away (in fact three. Kjær could easily have avoided the Dutch's 2nd goal)... |

The first vs Netherlands was a clear fluke goal. How is that a give-away?
Denamrk and France aren't comparable at all. France has the players to do much better but an awful coach, for the Danish qualifying for the tournament is an achievement.

They also showed more already than anything France have done in the past 10 minutes alone. |

Denmark ended 1st in its group ahead of both Portugal and Sweden. We can expect to go through from a group with Holland, Cameroun and Japan.
And if an own goal isn't a give-away, I don't know what is. |

Not by definition it isn't imo. It was a fluke, he mistimed plus his sweaty bald head and the jabulani may not have helped. I know him because he plays in the Eredivisie, he isn't a great player on a WC level. Actually nobody on the Danish squad is world class. Maybe Agger. Bendtner is allright, but not 100% and most of the rest is average or over the hill. To win that group is excellent, but an overachievement imo. Plus we've seen Portugal, they're not great right now.
Denmark could be expected to put up a fight for 2nd place but to put them 2nd is optimistic imo. Cameroon is the consensus #2 of the group imo.

The France comparison was meant as a joke (hencing to the fact that none of them wanted to be there - France, because of who knows why, Denmark, proved by the fact that they give-away goals (no matter what you call it)) |

hmm, Cameroon played an awful Africa Cup and the first 15 minutes or so of the game against Denmark are the first good minutes of Cameroon in ages. I think Danes are like Swiss, always underestimating their team;-) My pick for 2nd is Denmark. |

Ok didnt translate over the net.. ;P
Btw I really was surprised to see Enevoldsen in the line up last game (I'm from Groningen lol), also thought it was telling though. Denamrk just started poorly today, but they definitely picked it up now. But even if they'd lost 4-0 today I would never say that they wouldn't want to be there. Denmark is always a pretty positive side imo, attacking when they can. Except for against us maybe, they only tried to defend at first but that's probably out of respect and like so many teams did, trying not to lose the first match. |

Well maybe. Probably there wasn't a real consensus number two. I didn't follow the Africa cup, always bores me.
Based on some names I just didn't expect too much of Denmark. Like Tomasson for example. That's he's still on the team, and Enevoldsen as I mentioned, that's not a good sign imo.
Pretty obvious now this game is wide open now lol.
My pick for second right now is actually Japan. Think they'll hold Denmark to 0-0 probably. |

I agree that Japan, at the moment, is the favourite for 2nd. They've been pretty good. |

The analist on Belgian TV blames Sörensen for the goal. He should have played the ball out left instead of through the center. Poulsen was free on the left. Courtesy of Gert Verheyen, ex Red Devil. |

Nah, this is a standard situation for Denmark - it's what they always do. You can't blame Sørensen for this. |

Cameroon is pressing the central defense though. Eto'o's ball on the post came from a similar play. If he plays it wide or kicks it long there's no danger. |
