Interesting article on Armstrong's TDU appearance fee - here's the clue: it's big: https://media.crik...081010.pdf

I went to a concert at the Colston Hall this evening in Bristol and Ed Balls was playing the cello. Seriously. Well, put it this way, I have never ever seen anyone that has looked so much like someone else without being that person. Watching Ed Balls play the cello was not only offputting, but actually quite desturbing too. For those of you who don't know who Ed Balls is, you don't want to know who he is. Goodnight. |

Things that try to look like things often look more like things than things.
Well known fact.

"Wow ..." is the only possible response for some of them.
Here's another, from 1995, the guy on the right.

When I showed it to Doddy a few months ago, he couldnt figure out who it was

I tried login on youtube earlier this morning, but it asked me to link the account to my google account (which I don't/didn't have), it wouldn't let me go any farther otherwise.
As I was typing without really reading, I found myself with a google account linked to my hotmail mail address (if that makes sense...). I tried erasing the google account, but that just removed my youtube account as well...
Now my user name isn't available on youtube anymore (no big deal), but I can't create a new account without getting a google one at the next step.
That's just lame.
Has anyone else experienced such a thing on youtube lately ? |

Why do you need/want an account, if you don't mind me asking? I have one, but never/rarely sign in to it.

I'm not too sure why I had created it in the first place. And there's no real need of an account if your sole use of youtube is seeing videos from a link.
Now, that being said, I used my account to register to channels (whichever musicians I may like, whichever motor sport channel, etc.), so the account became a convenient tool to see what was new on those channel (= from those people).
I did some researches on the matter, it seems a youtube account is now necessarily a google account, so either I get a google account, either I'll use youtube without an account. |
