Anthony Ravard will retire at the end of the season, and has asked AG2R to not race any more until then. He can't overcome his back problems. |

That sucks
About sth else:
Does anyone know if Astana has signed Pellizotti? I heard that Vinokurov had said (in august I think) to MPCC that no contract has been signed jet. So, are they waiting for end of Vuelta, then leave MPCC and announce Pellizotti signing?

Stig Broeckx (8th overall in the World Ports Classic) signs professionally with Lotto Belisol for 2 years.

And according to L'Équipe, Julien Simon is going to Cofidis, taking Cyril Lemoine with him.
Yannick Martinez will join Bretagne Séché from La Pomme Marseille.

Martinelli said that Astana will definitely not leave MPCC. |

Big surprise for me, good young German talent, really surprised he didn't end up at Argos. |

I'm 90% sure it's all confirmed that Pellizotti WILL ride for Astana next season

Most likely scenario seems that Pellizotti will be kept from entering any races until the end of May (I thought it was?) when the MPCC-'suspension' is over.

REALLY surprised...and Movistar is probably the last team I expected him to go to.
On the other hand, that means they're pretty convinced of him.

Sutterlin should do well there but I hope it doesn't mean that he will go to the dark side. I would have preferred Argos or somewhere like that for him.
Edit: Though according to radsport he had several offers and this was his first. So clearly he has thought this through.

Too bad Sandy Casar has retired, I will miss that lad, esp. after crashing because of a dog then went on to winning a TDF stage, what a bada$$.

Rafael Valls joins Lampre, surprising thought he'd be off to the new Alonso project.

Jimmy Engoulvent the next rider to be leaving Sojasun, looks like he's joining Europcar. Bad news if he goes along with Simon and Lemoine (Cofidis) |

I'm afraid that tends to show Heulot has not found or will not find the main sponsor he's been desperately looking for. |

It certainly isn't looking good for them at the minute, I've still got my fingers crossed for them. |
