Thomas66 made the 2011 version. The mountain is just twice as long as in real, where they already finish at half time of the climb.
Even with changing the race type to a more mountain stage, the startlist was too weak. So climbers between 72-74 should be enough to have it more challenging. |

I just recognized that you have a Shimano sponsorkit (finish line and last kilometer), where did you get that? It looks much better then the UCI sponsorkit I am using.

I am quite sure that it`s part of the ASO DB then as i didn`t download it. So you might have to copy these files out of the DB. |

Thanks a lot. But I will install your version and the whole Garmin pack as your helmet might be better probably
I just saw that your Movistar kit was just a RR kit, so I already made the Garmin TT helmet as good as possible. |

Yea we decided for now to split the TT and normal packs because there isn't much known about TT helmets and bikes yet.
Look forward to see your TT helmet |

Thanks Sam. Really nice to hear that. Hope for interesting big races like PN, TA, MSR and all the classics soon.
@BoogieBoogie: Actually the Garmin TT helmet is very simple. Quite white with some stripes and the Giro logo on the front and sides. not sure when the next TT is in my schedule. Think it could be Murcia and PN. But probably I will post a picture before to present.
Looking forward to your Garmin Pack^^ |

Hushovd is at the moment at Katusha after a weak year for RadioShack. As it`s already the 3rd season he lost some stats. I think he is 77 in sprint and 76 flat, 69 hill, 77 cobbles
Hagen is 77 tt, 75 sprint, 76 hill, 71 mou,
Arvesen also lost many stats and is something around 70 in most stats.
Not 100% sure as I am not at home to check.
@sam: He might be one of our leaders for the smaller cobbled races like Kuurne BK, Omloop etc. but Maaskant might lead us in Paris Roubaix. Together with Vansummeren and Haussler he will be the leader for the Ronde VV. Gent Wevelgem all 4 of them can play a good role. Vansummeren, who won the last 2 years might be the favourite. |

That's quite logic that Maaskant is the leader. Since Sanchez will aim for PN he should be in a good form or MSR will he ride MSR?
I think MSR is one of the most dificult classics to win since the profile hasn't the perfect last 12km for a sprint train. So you will have to be very lucky with the positionning of your sprinters. Also the danger of a massive crash in the descent of the Poggio makes it hard to win. On the other side if someone with a good acceleration and hill stat attacks on the Poggio and the pack hesitates for a few seconds he's gone and probably never to be catched.

Before starting the career I had a 1,2,3 podium with Cancellara, F. Schleck and Voigt on hard attacking on the last 2 hills.
In my first season I tried it wit Hesjedal, who finished 5th being overtaken by the first two sprinters of the field. Farrar felt back into the 2nd group.
2nd season I tried it again with Hesjedal and Farrar. Farrar again no chance. Hesjedal`s attack was not successful and Sanchez had a bad daily form.
This year Farrar won`t participate. Hesjedal, Sanchez and Vansummeren are my men to attack. Haussler our main sprinter. I am not sure if Rojas is also participating. Can`t check it right now.
Could indeed become a close finish and hopefully someone else than Cancellara wins it. (He did in 2010/11) |

After the few days off, here is the next report with the new Garmin kit
Vuelta a Andalucía - Stage 2
Otura - Córdoba
Except of some minor hills this should be something for the sprinters. So Rojas is looking forward for this. But most important is to defend Sanchez`s overall lead.
A big group attacked today. Madrazo Ruiz (Burgos), Peña Iza (Caja), Moerenhout (Rabobank), Irizar (RadioShack), Bookwalter (BMC), Sousa (Barbot), Ongarato (Vacansoleil) to name some of them.
Duggan and Pate doing a great job behind. So the advance is 7 minutes with 100km to go and melting.
Moerenhout and Irizar were the strongest behind and attacked with 15km to go. Together they created a nice gap.
With 10km to go it`s still 1'32.
3 km to the finish and the group is caught. Just the two late attackers are a few meters ahead. Boom and Felline trying to bring Rojas into a perfect position but unfortunately the right trains are a bit faster than ours.
Koldo Fernandez with a dominant win today. He is ahead of Wyss and Ventoso. Rojas just finished 6th here. He might get another chance in Andalucia to show his real strength.

Thanks baia. Not sure if he can do anything good in Andalucia. But he might get many good opportunites.
Vuelta a Andalucía - Stage 3
Marbella - Benahavis
Today we have 4 long hills on the program but not sure if favourites can attack successful as the slopes aren`t that hard. Main goal is to defend the overall today, but with a bit luck Rojas will be able to survive the hills to go for a sprint finish of a smaller group.
During the first climb many riders attacked and so many small groups were ahead of the peloton. Then the big shock. The first group with 2min advance was the Astana duo Gautier and Frank Schleck!!!
What the hell are they planning today.
Immediately Felline and Pate are doing a high pace together with the Movistar riders. Except of the Astana duo the riders were caught very fast.
80km and the advance even gained to 6 minutes. Except of Sanchez and Kessiakoff all Garmin riders doing a very high pace in the peloton, which is already becoming smaller that early of the stage. Although we are doing a very high pace the advance isn`t really melting a lot.
Just 26 riders left in this group. Sanchez, Kessiakoff, Rojas and Boom from Garmin. Velits and Vinokourov from Astana and several Movistar riders.
It`s still possible to catch Schleck, but all Garmin and Movistar riders were working hard over the whole stage and are quite tired now. Why Frank Schleck isn`t exhausted by now?
On the final climb the first attacks. This time it`s Velits, Kroon, Florencio, Navarro and Ardila. But with Kessiakoff still doing a high pace none of them has a chance.
Also Gautier can`t follow Schleck now. The 2nd in the overall hast to ride solo the last 30km but actually this shouldn`t be a big problem for him riding that great. He is still 3'46 ahead and a long descent is in front of him.
Later on the climb Cobo Acebo attacked and as Kessiakoff couldn`t hold the high pace, Sanchez followed. Can these two riders increase again to catch Schleck? At least they caught Gautier now, who is really exhausted. But Schleck is still almost 4 min ahead and the advance doesn`t want to melt at all.
He is really doing a Landis here.
After a great and long attack Schleck wins the stage, the leader jersey and probably also the overall. I still can`t believe it that 7 Garmin and 5 Movistar riders weren`t able to catch him.
3'15 later Cobo wins the sprint ahead of Sanchez. Even on the flat part in the end they weren`T able to get closer to him.
The next group around Boom, Kessiakoff and Rojas finished with +4'16. So Kessiakoff will stay on the 4th after this stage, which might have already been the final decision of the whole race.
Many riders felt out of the time limit today. That shows how fast the peloton and especially Frank Schleck rode here on a relatively easy stage for the time limit.
