If Mandri doesn't do anything stupid (like breaks, trying for stage wins, going too deep in the next TT, etc) then doing Romandie shouldn't be an issue. There's plenty of time following the Tour to recover completely for the Giro.
There is no threath of going too far in a TT, he sucks in it weather he tries or not. I once beat him when I was 18.

Sagan won stage 1 of the Tour de Romandie.

Great sprint by Peter Sagan. Nice win. So he goes to yellow jersey for tomorrow.

Sagan is even better than Hagen in his first year. Better yet, Sagan is just better than Hagen, period. |

I am from Slovakia and I know coach of Dukla Trencin. This is the former Sagan club. A coach said Sagan is 100% talent. He has the will to win big races. He has a victory in the legs, but mainly in the head. |

You're only saying positive things about him until Slovakia starts with 9 riders in the WC while Holland is stuck with 6 again |

Another good win from 15 year old Sagan. Once he matures a bit, he'll be a monster. Or not. You never can tell. |

Maybe he's already as good as he's gunna get? To be fair, if I was that good, that young, I'd be bloomin' happy enough!

You're only saying positive things about him until Slovakia starts with 9 riders in the WC while Holland is stuck with 6 again I don't care, we have nothing to search at the worlds with 9 riders, we only have 3 or 4 who can actually do something.
I never said bad stuff about Hagen just because Norway scored more points up to 15 august (mind you, they finished the year behind Holland)
I did go up against the many fanboys who overrated Hagen and suddenly called him a hilly rider or someone who could do top 10 in last years worlds. And I was right about that. So.... I can only conclude you are one of those boys and now is pissed that I claim Sagan is better? |

I'd presume by Petterla's use of a smiley, he was joking. Take a chill pill ruben.

No, there is a long TT in there that will prevent that |

I think that if you are able to conclude that I'm pissed at you because you claim Sagan is better than Boasson Hagen out of what I wrote, then you have a vivid imagination.
As rjc_43 said, I was making a joke, based upon the fact that you, more or less out of nothing, had to write a Boasson Hagen comment. I thought the smiley would be enough for everybody to understand, but I am sorry if I still was to subtle.
BTW. Please use both his names Boasson Hagen, Hagen alone is rarely used, in Norway at least. |

So, basically the top sprinters continue their bad form and either aren't there at the finish, or completely screw it up (Davis).
Well done Sagan for taking advantage.

The GC will be won by who can win the TT out of the guys who make it past the mountain stages in the front group. Sagan isn't likely to do either (he can do the second if he's in top form)

The second one is not long as prologue..we know that several spriters type riders can ride strong short TT stages.
