good news, i hope they can all adapt quickly, i know that Bianchi will as he scored on his debut, pre-season friendly.
and also some very good video footage of none other than Rhain Davis, the new British hope has just signed (well kinda) for Manchester Utd from Whiz Kids in Australia the 9 year old is superb and hopefully will be even better as he gets older

not to be negative or anything, but don't get your hopes up
of all the "wonderkids", very few actually make it to even be a professional player, let alone a top flight player.
Daniel Rowe, Toni Robaina, Nii Lamptey, etc etc etc etc., I could name dozens of them who were supposed be the next coming of Maradona, Di Stefano, or whoever. |

Manchester City have continued their massive summer shopping spree with a third signing of the day after Brazilian midfielder Elano joined Spain Under-21 left-back Javier Garrido and Croatia international defender Vedran Corluka in putting pen to paper at Eastlands.

yes, so you've mentioned
it's a bit like Kalam Mooniaruck, Ben Muirhead,
speaking of former Man Utd "future world-beaters"
I just saw Abdelrahman Yasser Hussein playing yesterday. he's pretty decent for a mid-table club
and since you mention Man Utd's youngsters, here's a run-down of every "next wonderkid" coming from their youth ranks over the last few years:
Paul Scholes - you know the story
Ben Thornley - he played league football for a few seasons......and that's it...,
Terry Cooke he looked hot shit in his early matches for the 1st team, didn't he? where is he now?
Jovan Kirovski - "the first american to win world player of the year, surely!!" in the words of Man Utd's own Dennis Irwin. let's all laugh at Dennis
Michael Twiss - last I heard he was playing non-league
John Curtis -. England Youth captain, and everyone's hot tip to hit the big time. I think he actually made the bench in the Premiership for a season or two.
John Thorrington - see Kirovski
John O'Shea - Fans were comparing his performances to Alan Hansen
Marek Szmid - the "future club legend" turns out is now playing indoor soccer...
Kalam Mooniaruck - what Man Utd went through to get this guy is nothing short of amazing. Every decent club in the world was after him.
last I heard he'd been released by a Conference club.,
Daniel Rowe - a million pounds for a twelve year old. does anyone even remember him anymore? he's supposed to be about 19 now and I can't find a shread of info about him except forum threads and news articles from way back when he was supposed to be "the thing"
Mads Timm - lesson for the kids: being fat and having an attitude does not a football player make
expect Febien Brandy and possibly Gerárd Piqué to join this list of busts in a few years.
not Lee Martin. he's far too good for that. |

i see but Paul Scholes was and is awesome, O'Shea is pretty good
and Twiss plays Conference football for Morcambe, and i now hate him as they knocked York City out of the play-offs in the semi-final
we never got to go to Wembley
but yes you summarised that pretty well

that's great for the spanish league. but in any other league Piqué would get killed because he is extremely slow.

my point being that very few make it. Scholes and O'Shea are the exception. actually, two out of that many, is a great rate, compared to the average.

yes, he's pretty good. but not in the english league which is mostly physical. he is extremely slow and that is his only (and very big) problem. |

Watford have received a bid from "a Premiership club" for forward Hameur Bouazza.
Fulham were strongly linked with a £4million offer for the Algeria forward, whom the Hornets value at closer to £5million.
Hornets boss Adrian Boothroyd said: "I can tell you that we had an offer. It wouldn't be right to say who it was from or how much it was for.
"I would hope that the situation could be resolved. These things happen, and everyone now just wants to move on."
Bouazza ended last season in excellent form and is keen to return to the Premier League.

spanish paper Marca (who is generally reliable) claims Real Madrid have lodged a bid of 25 million euros for Porto midfielder LuÃs "Lucho" González.
the claim has even more credibility since Lucho was misteriously left out of the squad for this weekend's participation in the Rotterdam tournament.

Newcastle are in talks with ex-Lyon captain, Cacapa for a free transfer, The Brazilian defender left the French champions at the end of last season after refusing to sign a new contract. He was the captain for 5 years before he left (skysports)
would be great as Newcastle's defense is the worst in the Premiership every single year, just hope he won't be a Boumsong

Manchester City have announced the signing of Brazilian midfielder Elano, their third signing in a matter of hours.
The 26-year-old has penned a four-year deal at Eastlands after City agreed terms with his previous club Shakhtar Donetsk.
City have confirmed the deal for Elano is worth £8million and takes their spending to nearly £20million in 24 hours following the arrivals of Javi Garrido and Vedran Corluka. (skysports)
just like to say Corluka is an awesome 20 year old defender, btw why is this stuff going in this thread, i'm just following the trend

Elano is good. how he'll adapt to the english game is a question mark.
but Caçapa is most likely far too slow for it. |
