As we have a stupid way of remembering how to spell - "i before e except after c"
Obviously the message isn't getting through

Mexican Juan Magallanes wins another breakaway in the Vuelta a Colombia.
GC still as was yesterday. with just 3 stages to come, one being a ITT, looks like Botero has this one sewn up. |

the Deutschland Tour starts tomorrow with a whopping 75 total kms of time trialling.
Contador is not welcome by the organisers. same applies to the Vattenfall Cyclassics that take place afterwards. |

yeah, the first year of much publicised new races usually brings good lineups. the real test is how good the field will be in 2-3 years. here's to hoping it's another good addition to the calendar

i'm definatley going to Glasgow to see the finish of the Tour of Britain, and i'm hoping we can go to the Tour of Ireland also
unfortunatley i don't think any riders have been announced as definatley riding for the ToB and i don't think it will get riders like Boonen again, as everyone says it is the most dangerous race on the calendar

Sprint finish, no time differences. Bucciero 2nd and Tiago Machado catched in the cobblestone final after a breakaway with Miranda, Nozal, Vicioso....
Sra da Graça will be climbed on Saturday. Tomorrow is rest day and Sra da Graça will be climbed a first time only for those who want to join from all people and from the organisation members.

he's 33 and he used to ride for Banesto. he isn't on a ProTour team because he wouldn't be a leader there. over here he is and that's what he wants. |

I doubt it. teams over here don't have much money
besides, his goal is to win the Volta a Portugal. every year he's a candidate and every year he doesn't win.
in 2005 he lost the overall by less than a second.
he wins about a third of the races in the national calendar, because he's a reasonable climber, time triallist and sprinter... |
