F###k them!..bastards. Who was behind it?
The large majority of teams which were against the radio ban, but were screwed over by the French teams, perhaps.

stevendejonghThe riders make the race , not the communication ! I agree it's a shame ! But I can tell it's for our safety !
LeviLeipheimerJust saw lot of negative reactions of stage today .Tomorrow will b more atractive. The tour isn't a podium 4 experiments
Without radios everyone seemed to be a lot mellower and we had a time to talk. It was one of the best Tour de France stages I’ve ever raced," Voigt said.
So, as suspected the riders went slower and will take the stance that riding with radios is better to watch.
Suprise... not

nothing special they were calling to Katushas director and they asked why Ignatiev isn't working and he answered that it is because they have agreed not to help for French riders |

And... If they can be on strike because there is no radio... why don´t we make the fans another not going to Verbier. Imagine a banner on the top: "Empty for boredom". |

Right. You've now been complaining for 10 posts in row. I've been complaining too, and so have many others.
BUT: Since when has the 1st week of the Tour been interesting? It's always been like this.
So, relax, don't overdo it. |

Good point again..if they can protest..fans can protest. But this is 50-50 subject at the moment for the fans.
All against france riders in Bastille Day..is real nasty way to protest. (Thanks for hospitality) |

I agree, it's just wrong, imagine it being your countrys national day and all were against you.
Sorry, it's double standards.

¿And when have you seen a Tour without a single attack in three mountain stages?
They are forgetting that they are something due to the people that travel many kms to see them pass during 10 seconds and they are paying us with stage after stage of cyclotourism. |

*goes back and looks at stage 1 thread*
*reads all the anti-armstrong and anti-astana comments*
*notices astana has the only 2 US GC contenders*
*notices the date of stage 1 was july 4th*
Hmmm... nope. Can't imagine it at all. |

Arvesen is 100% out of the Tour, he has broken the collarbone straight off..
A big loss for Saxo Bank and a huge loss for norwegian cycling. Very sad, he has looked very good in this first week of the Tour, and I think he could have done a great job for Saxo Bank in the Alps. |
