pma1309:
So far, there are no known limits in PCM09. That said, for every team and race you add, the game will be slower - and at some point, you will reach a point where the game will start having weird crashes. That's what happened with the PCM.daily DB for PCM08 - however, due to the changes in the invitation system for PCM09, the limits have been increased.
Also, you're right that only the IDs may need to be changed. If there are any ID clashes, the game will crash when starting a career. Make sure to copy your changes to the Local.cdb too.

You should use Hannes Converter for this. Click the large plug icon to load your game. I'd recommend doing it in a DB, not a save game as that will require more editing. You need to open DYN_team and DYN_cyclist.
In DYN_team, find the ID of LPR. Then open DYN_cyclist, find the two riders and enter the ID in fkIDteam. Scroll along until you find a column named something with injury (fkIDinjury, perhaps?). Both Bosisio and Di Luca have a number here - replace it with 0. In the bottom, click Save and close the table.
Now, click the large disc icon and make sure to mark DYN_cyclist when you save. |

Thank Crue.
Luckily It´s fairly easy to ad the changes to the Local.cdb but I was not sure I needed too. Now I know better .
EDIT:
Crap! can´t open the Local.cdb. The advanced editor gives me the following error message (sorry but it´s in danish):
"Der opstod en ikke-afviklet undtagelse i programmet.
Der findes et ugyldigt tegn i den angivne kodning. Linie 4545, position 363."
There seems to be an invalid entry in linie 4545, position 363.
I can choose to continue converting but the editor never finish.
I´m using PCMDaily´s Local DB. I have not made any changes to this cdb before. does anybody know of a solution to this?

Thanks for that folks, I wasn't entirely sure even how to start - when clicking on the first icon whether it was wanting a saved game, a database or the local.cdb file .... I did it with PCMdaily2009DB though and it worked. Thanks for your help. |

I´m so sorry for being such a moron. It was right in front of my eyes
It works just fine now. Once again, thanks Crue now the many hours of copying data hasn´t been in vain.
Peter
EDIT:
I have just taken a look at the STA_Race table from the local cdb and none of the PCMDaily custom races has been added there, so is it necesarry for me to ad anything regarding new races/stages?

If you're playing with the PCM.daily DB, you also need the Local.cdb that comes with it. It's available from this link: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....ile=248591 |

Thank´s again. I added 91 races and 180 stages to both the PCMDaily and the local cdb.
I then replaced both cdb´s in the C: username/my documents/Pro cycl..... folders.
Now the game CTD while making the race inscriptions during career game startup. I´ve been through both tables and found no identical ID´s. Maybee I just added to much or more likely made some kind of mistake.

"Some kind of mistake" sounds likely. Again, check for identical IDs and make sure that the fkIDstage_first and _last are correctly set in STA_stage. |

Pheew... finally managed to add some races (30 so far). It still crashes when I add all 91 so there is either a faulty entry somewhere (can´t find any though) or it´s just too much for the engine.
The added races are however without sprint, mountain and finish points/bonuses. Where do I add these?
Been going through the various STA tables and I can´t seem to find any that holds this information. |

gene_sz_classification in STA_race defines which file in Program Files/Cyanide/PCM/Classifications that the race should use. Make sure that the one that's listed also exists in the mentioned folder. |

It could be usefull not to ADD races and stages, but COPY them and then EDIT. So, you'll get some features, that you don't need to worry about

Thank´s Crue. Case solved
@Maximka
I did copy/paste both races and stages and manually changes various ID´s to avoid duplicates.
In the case with the race definitions the CDB I was copying from had it´s own def´s |

Attach your save game, and I'll have a look (and possibly include some variants). |

Can you try reuploading (Reply -> attach)? Seems like there's a problem with the file. |
