@Crommy,
yep! absolutely. That's where they were created and tested. I cant use PCM2007 so everything I create these days is for PCM2006.

Well, I looked at the "end" vehicle in my CM_Meshes folder and thought what could we possibly do with this van??? It doesnt work and it doesnt really serve much of a purpose, so I thought it should be at least intergrated with the game somehow. Im sure Cyanide will extend themselves to include more vehicles in the 3D game at some point in the future, but for now we have to make do with what we have. So this is the end result. Nothing flash!! nothing over the top, certainly not a Miya creation, but I was looking through the letour.fr website and thought why not do this...nobody else has as far as I know
They look quite good in game play, but Cyanide could only come up with 1 good side. The other is reversed. Place them around the finish line and it adds to the colour at the end, especially if you get a finish in the mountains or on a flat that has no surrounding city. Most of the major sponsors are here: Aquarel, Le Tour, Haribo, Gran Mere, France Televisions, Eurotyre, Eco Embelleges, Cochonou, Champion, PMU, Nesquick, LCL. Just grab StageEditor and off you go! Also included is 4 new Corporate Sponsor Tents - PMU, Gran Mere, Champion and LeTour.
Enjoy!

@Crommy,
I guess its possible. I was using them as Isolated Buildings. You could possibly overwrite some what exists.... |

Precisely what I meant. You can overwrite some of the existing vehicles. Either the Director or the Mavic Support. Although I dont know why you'd want to. These are just 1-offs. More for decoration than for interegration into gameplay. |

No, I mean can you overwrite items like caravans used in stage editors so that the vans would be used instead, without having to go into the actual stage editor

Then why in the world are you posting this stuff in the PCM 07 Graphics forum if it doesn't work for that game?
Post it in the PCM 06 folder! I downloaded a bunch of this stuff only to find out it didn't work. |

@mdd31,
what have you downloaded that doesnt work in 07???? Try being a little more specific next time you want to "bitch" about someones work. I'm guessing its most likely your set up or your ignorance that's preventing things from working. Ive only reworked what's currently available in both 06 and 07. Ive not created something out of left field and stated it would work. All Ive done this year are, buses which work in both formats, team cars which I reworked from Miya's Mavic Support model and a few standard accessories and bikes. Which have not changed. All the other graphics , i.e the race kits were created late last year and early this year up to the time when PCM07 was released. I havent created any more since due to the fact that there were some slight changes in the "finish_line" for PCM07 and I didnt have sufficient time to test them all before my PC crashed and I have since not been able to use PCM07. I've had feedback from both users in PCM Daily and Cyanide Forum and nobody has complained about what Ive created for 06 and O7.
A small piece of advice when it comes to complaining about someones work. Instead of berating it. Offer a better solution else , shut your hole. Nobody is twisting your friggen arm to use creations from here. Last I heard,most people make their own choices, then you live with it. If your unsure about something, ask a question.That's what PM means!!!!! moron...

@Crommy,
well as I said I guess its possible. If you know your way around nif then all you need to do is goto the Isolated Buildings folder. Rename the Vans file to be "campervan+number". Then go into the data and point the target at the graphic file for the van. Seems like a longer process than just creating a new folder with all the vans then just point-n-click.
I guess that's up to you to work out....I would think it might be a little overkill when it comes to mountain stages and you have 400 Champion vans going up the mountainside pass. |
