Rabobank 2010 - behind the desk
Michal4444
13th of February

After yesterday domination I expect calm day today - Boonen is surely biggest favourite but who knows. All guys agreed that we had to keep breaks at bay to ensure mass sprint finish. Menchov will be protected by yellow jersey holder Van Winden

Tour Mediterraneen 2010 - stage 3

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/stage3-2.jpg

As was agreed - Dennis (Van Winden) takes care of Denis (Menchov)

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/windeninyellow.jpg

Only break during day doesn´t contain any contenders...

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/breakoftheday.jpg

And thanks to Rabo and other teams it was caught very soon

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/breakscaught.jpg

Preparation before sprint - Lars just lost Cioleks wheel - oh no!

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/Raschstartssprint.jpg

First place will be between Boonen and Ciolek

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/Ciolekboonen.jpg

And Boonen made another narrow win

14th of February

yesterday I checked today course one more time and made a plan for tpday to use last small hill just before finish to attack. Boom will make perfect lead-out for not exactly sprinter Menchov. If we will have luck we can make another bonus seconds...

Tour Mediterraneen 2010 - stage 4

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/stage4-3.jpg

Only one break today lead by Shpilevski

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/Shpilevskibreak.jpg

We have full control of pack and we aren´t going to let break escape too far

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/Rabocontrol.jpg

Break was doomed and on the last hill Boom attacks!

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/Boomattack.jpg

Even Menchov couldn´t follow him so I decide to set Lars fully off

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/attacksuccesful.jpg

At last he couldn´t hold on his big tempo but it was enough anyway.... Menchov is in the first group too and there is a time gap!

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/timedifference.jpg

Lars won and he is enjoying his moments of glory now...

15th of February

today we are planning two attacks in last hills. The first one for Lars and the other one for Denis. Either way we will not lose any time.

Tour Mediterraneen 2010 - stage 5

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/stage5-3.jpg

break formed as usual - and as usual we won´t let them go much far

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/breakofday.jpg

Lloyd and Gustov tried another break 45 km before finish

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/GustovLloyd.jpg

they failed and Boom is trying to go in first downhill.

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/Boomdownhill.jpg

He was also caught, but Landaluze attacks on the last hill. Menchov counters!

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/Landaluzelasthill.jpg

Menchov is in front and still attacking. It´s crazy downhill..

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/Menchovcrazydownhill.jpg

It is quite a gap now. Victory is ours!

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/Menchovgap.jpg

Menchov is happy. He knows that he won not only stage but propably whole Tour today

16th of February

Last day of Tour Mediterraneen - I expect no problems here. Denis is strong enough to ensure his victory - I fear only falls. On the other side - erik is with team in Andalucia - Flecha is leader there - I saw our line-up there - not bad but Theo is too weak in hills and Flecha is not enough good in sprints so TOP 5 will be good result

Tour Mediterraneen 2010 - stage 6 (last)

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/stage6-2.jpg

break as usual - Renev isn´t bad rider but he is too far in classification...

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/Renevattacks.jpg

Nocentini is in very good position just before Mt. Faron! can it be enough for stage win?

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/Nocentini.jpg

Nocentini is still in front and try to make some distance. Chris Anker Sorensen responds with attack - Menchov follows!

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/SorensenMenchov.jpg

Half km to go and Menchov is trying to pass Nocentini! Go DENIS!

i624.photobucket.com/albums/tt322/Michal4444/MenchovattacksNocentini.jpg

Menchov is going for stage victory - No-one can touch him now. Nocentini will be second, Hesjedal 3rd

Great win for Denis! But when I saw overall results I was more than surprised that we made circus from this race...

Quite embarassing for me that I overwhelmed everyone so much but that was because of great TTT. Thanks to results, Marc can enjoy longer holiday and i will go conquer Tour du Haut Var!

We are on the leave to France for Tour du Haut Var. Lars and Pieter discussed tactics and it looks like that giving them free ride possibility as a good idea. I don´t have so overpowered team as in Meditteraneen but it is strong anyway

I have to say that I am a little bit surprised with this double. Lots of very good punchers were here so I haven´t been expecting it at all when I had seen line-up...
