20 minute! Wow! I never see it in PCM. The best breakaway that I have ever see his 12 minutes.

I don't think that he won 20 minutes with just one breakaway, he probably went to many breakaways. Wink

It is possible, but take and keep a good overall position, the other favorite will not let you go away.

Chavanel attacked twice in the last week. First he got nine minutes, and moved up to 7. Then he got 11 minutes in another break (the stage to Alpe d'Huez) and he defended himself in the last timetrial Wink

Trent Lowe – Astana
Kanstantin Siutsou – Astana
Mauricio Soler - Astana
Tadej Valjavec – Caisse d’Epargne
Gregory Rast – Caisse d’Epargne

Gilberto Simoni – Caisse d’Epargne
Haimar Zubeldia – Cervélo Test Team
Pablo Lastras – Fuji Servetto
David Bernabeu – Fuji Servetto
Nuno Ribeiro – Fuji Servetto
Ivan Dominguez – Garmin – Slipstream
Baden Cooke – Lampre - NGC
Andreas Klöden – QuickStep
Johan Van Summeren – QuickStep
Robert Hunter – Rabobank
José Gomez Marchante – Rabobank
Candido Barbosa – Silence Lotto
Kristof Vandewalle – Silence Lotto
Sébastien Minard – Team Columbia – High Road
Jens Voigt – Team Columbia – High Road
Dominik Eberle – Team Columbia – High Road
Franco Pellizotti – Team Katusha
Robert Förster – Team Katusha
David Herrero – Team Katusha
Jochen Summer – Team Milram
Yaroslav Popovych – Team Saxo Bank
Michael Rogers – Team Saxp Bank
Björn Leukemans – Team Saxo Bank

It's really sad that we lost Simoni. Caisse d'Epargne has made a Monopoly for the stars, and got Vandevelde and Valjavec too. Astana hasn't been worse, as they signed the TT horse Millar and Mauricio Soler. I will post the riders our team signed later today.

If you can go in pro tour next season, you can replace simoni.

Frattini is our first signing. He will be one of our sprinters. The question is, is he strong enough to stand the distances?

i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm191/xkrist5/PCM0002-10.png
Next up is Victor Moreno. He’s a promising timetrialist from Venezuela, and if this team need something, it’s time trialists.

i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm191/xkrist5/PCM0003-6.png
Tomás Gil is an old rider, but he will be a valuable teammate in the stage races. He’s a typical all-rounder.

i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm191/xkrist5/PCM0004-7.png
Forero may be our most important signing. He’s a great sprinter who’s very good at timetrialing too.

i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm191/xkrist5/PCM0005-8.png
Abrescia is a young time trial talent that our scout found. Our scout estimated him to have a great future.

Pagoto is a young and good rider. He will be very important for me, as he’s a very good hilly rider.

Well, we haven’t signed some really big names, but we’ll make a nice squad either way. The departure of Simoni has weakened the team, and now we’ll have to rely on Scarponi to perform well in the GT’s.

wackojackohighcliffe
real strong squad

Good sing. It will help you a lot. Whit the lost of Simoni, will Ginanni become a new leader for the team?

MrContador
With Scarponi going for the stageraces, Ginanni will be the leader in the hilly races Wink

beagle
Good signs, I like you prefer Venezuelan and Italian riders for your team Smile Did you think about Manuel Medina? Will his contract end in Gobernacion del Zulia after season?

MrContador
No, Medina is under contract. I'll see if I get him next year Wink (Or I'll buy him when the transfer season starts).

buy Rujano as well Banana

MrContador
Hehe, I'll try Wink

ursul
Good idea. Do you look for other young? New generation of good rider is a good deal for a team.

MrContador
I'll try to have a mix of young rookies and experienced elders Wink

Next part is coming up in 3 minutes!

Hilly circuit today. This is my terrain!

i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm191/xkrist5/PCM0053-3.png
Just like Di Luca and Pozzovivo, I was sitting in the front of the pack.

i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm191/xkrist5/PCM0055-2.png
The attacks started on the second-to-last climb. A group of five went. Mori and Impey are there. But they are chased down.

i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm191/xkrist5/PCM0056-1.png
It’s the steepest section of the last climb, and I’m launching an attack! Responds are coming from behind, Di Luca counters…

i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm191/xkrist5/PCM0057-1.png
We’re going down to the finish. I’m sitting with Pozzovivo, Di Luca, Kuschynski, Carlström and Pardilla. This may be my chance to win…

i296.photobucket.com/albums/mm191/xkrist5/PCM0058-3.png
But I wasn’t strong enough, and Di Luca won. Anyway, a nice result by me and my form is improving. I hope to be in top shape for the worlds.

4th, good result! Di luca, Aleksandr Kuschynski and Pozzovivo are just better in sprint, to bad. Finish in the first groups is very good.
