I agree, snowboarding is awesome.
Beats skiing all the way.

Where do you get this waiting for hours idea Crue? You just go up the lifts then ski down the slopes, wheres the waiting part?
Well, you got to get to the mountain first, don't you? You sit in a lift for a very long time, you get higher and higher up and in the end you're at the skiing place where you need to go to another lift to get to the hills.
But anyway, some enjoy it - I just don't |

Well, thats why if you go skiing, staying at the resort you use is useful. Youre right though, actually getting to the place by transport is boring, but thats all part of the journey

Not to mention that if you are a budget loving freak, you sit in a swedish train for hours while going in circle around lakes. No seriously, i had a 4 day vacation in Hestra (a skiing thingy in the southern bits of Sweden) a couple of years ago , and after sitting 4 hours in a swedish train, the last thing you want is of course not wanting to ski. But after i clipped a tree around early on the second day, i just started to hate snow and all things you do on it.

Our school has some good trips - America, Russia, China, Barcelona, skiing in Italy/France, Belgium, Germany, all around the UK.
And we very nearly went to South Africa, but it was too expensive, so not enough people went
