He moved after his ban, if you read the whole story you know that. |

well the problem is that if he's going for the green one he'll probably take the yellow too...
but before further predictons take a look at the next report:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3rd Stage
It was becoming an habbit to see such reputed peloton controled by LA MSS colors
It was not been mentioned but there have been an unusual number of falls during the whole race. Today a big name as tasted the asfalt, but for everyone’s surprise nobody in the team remained with him. His name was Riccò!
Valverde launched a hell of an attack in the last hill. Pelizotti, Sastre, Vicioso, Astarloza among many others went after him when it still remained a breakaway at the front
Eventually the favorites and the resistent riders from the break merged into a huge group chased by the bunch controled by Cunego’s Lampre.
They resisted the whole downhill and got the right o dispute the victory themselves
The finish line unveiled the winner: Alejandro Valverde! Vicioso didn’t sprint at his best but he still got a top5 and better than that he maintained the yellow jersey for one more day!
But the race wasn’t over!! When the peloton arrived more terrible news. Machado crashed and is one more concern for our doctors. Two injured riders in the same race! Lucky We!!

hehe
glad to see everyone is as happy as me that Riccò, a fellow doper, as fallen
that's just crappy that Tiago Machado as fallen too and now two of Vicioso best team mates are injured...
Anyway the Spaniard will be trying to carry the yellow jersey as far as he can!

4th Stage
Again a nineteen-men breakaway marked the day.Siutsou, Tiralongo, De La Fuente and Nibali included.
Our team let the group gain advantage since nobody was close to Vicioso in the GC. With 2min ahead Siutsou attacked at the bottom of the last climb
In the pack nobody risked anything but Vicioso had to enlarge the gap for his rivals because of the final TT. He attacked reaching the top of the hill
He went alone and at the of the end descent only Siutsou and Nibali remained in front of him with some seconds of difference
In the final flat 5km Valverde stormed in the peloton carrying Dekker and Astarloza. At the front Siutsou was about to win the stage in front of Vicioso’s group.
Siutsou won it with a 1min gap
Vicioso did is best to build a gap to the other favorites and let the other riders of the group take the podium but unfortunately the all-mighty Valverde reached them with Dekker and also finished in front o the “Dopeman”…

So, the big question is whether you'll be able to hold Valverde and Dekker off?

yes but for different reasons.
Dekker will crush Vicioso in the final TT so I need to gain at least a minute to him in the next stage which seems pretty hard but not impossible
As to Valverde he's not that dangerous in TT and Vicioso as beaten him last year in an amazing spanish TT championship. But the penultimate stage probably wont be as good as I need it to be and Valverde will probably be the favourite for tomorrow...

5th Stage
A critical day for Vicioso! He had to gain more time to create a gap for tomorrow’s TT.
On the last 20 km Jufré had 1min to Nocentini who had 1min to the pack.
But the last mountain sprint caught both of them and the bunch was ready for a mass sprint finish.
Vicioso had other intentions he used a little tiny elevation in the last few kms to gain advantage! Nobody seemed to be aware of this mini-mini hill!!
Quickly he built a 30’’ gap to the peloton. He won the penultimate stage with s little difference in GC for TT specialists like Dekker. The Dopeman will give it all tomorrow!!
Stage
GC
1 minute gap to Dekker was the goal and we didi it. Now can the Spaniard hold on to his advantage and prove it was enough to take the yellow home?!

6th Stage
Levi Leipheimer – 1st
Cadel Evans - 2nd
Vicioso did a reasonable stage for his characteristics he lost 1’51 to Evans. Dekker the major threat only lost 51’’ what did it mean?
It means that Vicioso wins by three little seconds!!!!! The 1minute gap was just perfect!! Wonderfull victory by Angel Vicioso. Once more he brings glory upon our team as we conquer the second most important race for our sponsors!!

Nobody attacked in the last mountain sprint but there was a really short climb whitin the last 2km.
I attacked but by the time someone was able to counter Vicioso was already in the downhill and ready for sprint. So the other climbers didnt manage to create a gap to the bunch as quickly as Vicioso.
As you can see in that stage rankings the first riders of the pack are majorly climbers and not sprinters!

Great win. I guess you aren't in the bottom of ProTour classification.
