Oh then Menchov wins
And I was meaning about the stage when he became the leader
Sorry for Rujano

I couldn't expect anything from Rujano in Romandie, but in the Giro I want a top 15.

Great Paris-Roubaix I think you can do a top 10 in the Giro with Rujano, maybe a top 6 too |

Giro d'Italia 2007
The first grand tour of the season is here! It's great and it's always little nervous before the first stage. This years Giro will kick off with a TTT. Our team:
Jose Rujano - Team Leader
Jose will be our leader here, he is able to compete with the best in the world in the mountains and he is ok in the TTs. Our goal in this Giro is to take a top 15 spot. Jose is our man for that. If he fails to follow the favourites in the first mountain stages and he is out of the top 15, we maybe will try an long attack on a mountain stage to gain some time.
Aleksandr Pliuschin
André Steensen
Gustav Larsson - Team mates (Mountains)
Luis Pasamontes
Aleksandr, Andre, Gustav and Luis will try to help Jose in the mountains, Larsson, Steensen and Pliuschin is also here for the first stage, the TTT.
Markus Eichler
Jonas Ljungblad
Erwin Thijs - Team mates (Flat)
Nils Scheuneman
Markus and Nils is here to help in the TTT. Jonas and Erwin will try to protect Jose as much as possible.
It is many big stars here in Italy, so it's going to be very tough for Rujano, but hopefully everyone isn't in form. Di Luca, Cunego, Simoni and Savoldelli looks like the big favourites. In Milano in about 21 days we will see who was the best, maybe Jose. Who knows?

Did I miss where you talked about how YOU did in the Ardennes classics?
But good luck in the GIRO! |

I was going to ask the same question, milrbe.
And good luck in the Giro - what's Rujano's condition like? |

Giro d'Italia
Stage 2
The first "real" stage of this years Giro is today. It's a sprinter stage, but the hill with 40 km to go, will probably kill som of the sprinters.
Todays break were: Belohvosciks, Pedersen, Piil, Mengin and Horillo.
Todays break.
Everybody worked for Rujano today, to keep him as fresh as possible.
Rujano relaxing in the pack.
The break were caught with 40 km to go. With 20 km left of the stage a crosswind splitted up the peleton in two parts, but we were on the right side.
The group came together in the sprint, but mane sprinters couldn't fight for the win. Instead Mirko Celestino took a surprise win!
Enrico Gaspearotto is the new leader!
