Wacko, read this. We can only assume its him but this should clarify it.

Obviously, a lot of the new guys do not know the story about Gianni. Back in the Cyanide forum days, Janez Brajkovic was registered as Gianni. Back then, he wasn't very known, but he usually kept us updated on his results. After his great results in the U23 World Championship TT in 2004, he obviously became more known in the public, especially when he was signed by Discovery in 2005. He also started posting less.
But obviously, he's still looking around and reading what we're writing
As far as I know, there's not any other pro cyclists on this forum. |

So you're saying we should stop discussing the clear evidence that most Astana riders are doping because one of them might perhaps be reading?

What evidence do you have that all Astana riders are doped? |

Yeah, I passed him (er wait...he passed me) on some roads in north Georgia. He stopped to eat up at a small little restaurant up on the top of the mountain, and well I was hungry Had a conversation with him, cool guy.
Lewis or Brajkovic?

i was failing, once again, to make a joke.
but surely you know that that ("I'm sorry officer, I can't point out the guy who mugged me. He might see me" is how it often works

If we did have conclusive evidence, the riders would be banned for two years by now. So, we don't, but we have circumstantial 'thoughts' which we are allowed to have and discuss even with pro riders reading
After all, if they disagree and can prove us wrong, they can participate in the discussion. So far, they haven't. |

That's the problem with Doping. It has ruined the sport to the point that you are guilty until you have proof of innocence. How can you prove that did not do something? |

Well, it depends what his opinion is about. No matter that he'd want it or not, he'll never say rider X or rider Y is doping, there's a lot of doping in team W but teams A, B and C are almost perfectly clean. Such statements would harm his career, obviously. And would you expect him to say "yes, I'm doped" (if it was case) ? Of course not.
Then if it's about the feeling of racing, he is racing at a level none of us ever rode, and has probably riden more km in races than all of us together, so of course then his opinion is very valuable. |

...maybe just his opinion about yesterdays race in particular?
He did very well! Very promising for next season. The final sprint was just a microscopic part of his entire performance.
But imagine you just did 250km of racing, in one of the most prestigious races in the entire world, ending on the podium, and then find people talking about the fact that you swerved a bit in the last 100m A tiny bit of temper is understandable |

Indeed. People use nicknames for a reason. A first name basis is not exactly welcome (Ruben excepted) |
