So he discriminates based on religion, not race.
My father and grandfather were Jewish.
pfff. convenient excuse.
I'm watching you boy.
well it has nothing to do if your father/grandfather/great-grandfather was/were Jewish, it's all from the mom's line so if your mom/grandma/etc were jewish you're a Jew, if your dad is Jewish and your mom isn't, unless you convert you aren't Jewish |

yeah but is your mom Jewish it has to be an unbroken line, if your dad has any sisters any children they have/had are Jews but unless your mom is a Jew you aren't deemed one, unless you converted to Judaism.

Im 100% sure that Arvesen has not doped. He shares the same values as Hushovd and is very outspoken against doping. I might be wrong but it would suprise me incredibly much.
Well, he did race with Bartoli, Basso, Bettini and Simeoni (among others) as an espoir, and has been racing for CSC for quite some time, so I’ll have severe difficulties saying I’m 100% sure he’s clean. Though I want to believe him, as he’s outspoken against doping and “seems like a nice guy” (don’t shoot me isso ).
What I'm trying to say, I won't be shocked if he were to be among the 4 CSC riders rumoured to have tested positive. |

After all of this I have severe difficulties saying any riders are clean. When a guy like Sastre is suddenly under suspicion I start losing faith, because he is a guy who you would really think would stay away from illegal substances after the JM Jimenez tragedy. I still don't believe Sastre is doped, but with all the on-going talks I can't somehow deny him being that. And if Sastre is doped, everyone's doped!

This is the major problem with cycling fans. They ignore all facts and are simply mindless emotional cronies.
Get a grip man, look at the facts. For the three millionth time, personality HAS FUCK ALL TO DO WITH WHETHER OR NOT YOU DOPE.
jesus...
For years these people go on "I love this and that rider. He's not doped, just because I love him. And if he's doped then everyone else is doped, because he is the most innocent human being ever. Why is he? Because I love him, that's all."
Never any facts, never any logic, just mindless emotions.
Think people, THINK

An amateur (though at high level) said it's hard to explain to the audience, because they don't understand how top sport people think. They do whatever is physically possible, to win. Probably 90% of all pro's are doped. The ones who take ridicolously much though, get caught, the others, while balancing on a thin line, avoid the dance, but also perform worse usually. The trick is to use much and not get caught, appearently. |

Let me just say one thing, the doping speculation here is pretty crazy, just based on everybody's opinion of certain riders or teams, before a rider has a positive test you shouldn't accuse someone. Fine if someone test positive throw them the hell out but don't start rumours that are not true to damage both cycling and individual racers.
Look at the other riders that were named with Schumacher, the UCI has just confirmed that these were just rumours, but the damage is already done.
Now many cycling fans think of Sastre, Cancellara and Kohl as dopers based on lies, and the riders have no possibility to defend themselves.

No, they didn't say that they were just rumours. They just said that people shouldn't go around telling rumours when they are not sure. Basically, they are saying what you're saying.
And I'm sorry, but I deny going around being naive when I see something which just can't be true. |

If Sastre, Cancellara and Kohl are proved positive in the future, fine i'll admit I was wrong no problem. But until I see evidence and not just rumours i will not call them dopers, or think of them as dopers or speculate if they are doped.
Put yourself in their position, they work incredibly hard in training and races all year, and sacrifice a lot to be a proffesional cyclist, just think what they must be feeling if they are innocent. With no chance of changing people minds. |

Anyway, to sum up, today has - so far - been a disappointment. I had really expected more riders today. Or at least some clarification to what we can expect from AFLD. Were Piepoli and Schumacher the only ones positive? |
