I guess some PT managers would've been happy with an outcome that you're treating as "boring"

EAB obviously didn't show the active race you were hoping for, and I agree that he should have done more. But well, it also shows that your team can be competitive against PT teams, which is nice to know as a PCT team

Although I have to admit that last year my team also did better in PT races than in PTHC ones with actual points at stake...

Partially successful results in Ukraine and Juarez, and I think Portugal as well, but I guess the latter did not live up to your expectations for Pogacar. Was a little surprising that he missed the Top 10, have to agree. Hopefully, the results become better soon.

I am not a PT manager so the final GC placing has no meaning to me.

If he performed to expectations on the hilly stages that would be one thing I could bank for future races, but he didn't which makes the race a failure.

By that logic Lierse should be shouting from the rooftops. What will matter is if I'm competitive against P/CT, which after 1/5 of the season I'm not.
