Champoussin really cracked hard that final stage, finishing last. Not that I expected him to mount a GC challenge, fourth in the KoM is more than I could wish for.
Bjerg (who is actually mine) also got some attention in the time trials, but this being his first year as well not much more to expect.
I'll let the other Minions be judged by Nemolito who obviously has been paying closer attention to them Nice to see them being active the entire race and showing the overalls.
Congratulations to Conci, may he become a great in the future. Thanks Nemolito for handling the reports

That's what I will do indeed. Nice to see some of my own in the attack, that's all they could do. Loanee Hayter even almost managed to take home a very nice win. Was fun to see Champoussin in the attack during the first mountain stage, but after not being able to close the gap to the attackers in the last stage he really broke down/stopped caring (you can choose ) and finished dead last indeed. Was a nice Latin American - Qatarese collaboration, my riders have worn the Minions jersey with pride!
Quispe also told me he enjoyed sitting in the car with you, he came back a wise(r) man.
Thanks for the thanks, all

Good effort from Foss! Nice to see him climb inside the top 10 overall, but just like tastasol, I'd have preferred one of him and Sosa in the top 5.
Really impressive win by Conci! Bernal has created big gaps behind, but still Conci is superior. Chapeau, and well done!
Also thank you for the reports, Nemolito. I've enjoyed the race from start to finish, like every year |

Not smart riding by McCormcick, didn't use our depth, probably should have had another rider in the break to help Fung. And if Fung hadn't lost a lot of time yesterday he wouldn't have needed to be in the break, which was a heroic ride but probably ended up worse than if he had just stayed in the peloton.
Ahh well, tomorrow is another day.
They listened - Tomorrow really was another day! And we didn't just have one more rider but 3, so much better use of our depth.
The AI handled it brilliantly with McNulty helping Hoehn to bridge across and then him and Revard burning themselves out to protect Fung. GC group was too aggressive and maybe we weren't quite strong enough for the stage but KOM was a very nice consolation price.
Thanks to Nemo for the reports and congrats to LLS and Quadsas on the combined win.

Pretty unexpected winner here. Bernal failed to deliver despite having strong support while Sivakov was only a shadow all the time.
Philips started strong but then missed it in the mountains whole Conci simply was strongest somehow.
Congrats and thanks for the reports.
Was a nice read, even though my riders weren't seen a lot. |

Zalgiris once again proved their superiority. Conci realised what it's like to ride for a truly glorious squad.

Have to say this was expected from us as Storer was never going to be strong enough for this stage and Inkelaar and Eenkhoorn had too much to do. Still, we got 3 stage wins, carried the Yellow jersey for 6 stages and eventually won the Teams standings. Should bode well for the future. Big thank you to WJ and tsmoha to allow Eenkhoorn and Storer to ride for us. They were the stars of our race in the end
Thanks for the great reports Nemo, was a great read Congrats to LLS and quadsas for the unexpected Conci win!

Thank you Nemolito for your incredible work as reporter, awesome stuff!
Regarding to race, I'm very very disappointed with Bernal's performances, especially in stages 7 and 8. What a wasted opportunity.

Now I'm really late to the party. Like REALLY late. Thanks to the NCs I was somehow directed to Avenir's results. What a race by Storer! Obviously we couldn't expect a serious GC hunt, but two stage wins and a respectable GC result speak for itself! Followed his season whenever possible and it seems like he did a good job for Philips overall. Nice.
