With the site being down I continued on with the Barloworld career. I won quite a few races/stages with Hunter and Gasparotto (and even a stage win by Pfannberger). My CTT ranking went from 11th to 3rd, leading to a Vuelta invite. Things were looking good. Then PCM got a bug meaning a couldn't start the game and had to delete all PCM files and re-install.

Therefore, this story is over. A shame indeed, although I think the Giro story was maybe a good way to finish things.

As a side-note, the Tour de France top 3 was:

1. Cadel Evans
2. Popovych
3. Piepoli

A bit unrealistic esp. as Piepoli held the yellow until the last TT so I think the DB needs more work.
