Stage 3, Alpiarca ITT:
Guidi lost time today as expected as he dropped to the 8th place, 33 secs behind Vorganov who does manage to stay in the lead but with Costa being 13 secs behind he should still watch out, if Costa wins tommorow he'l also take over the lead...the stage went to a certain Helder Miranda

Stage 4, Golega - Santarem:
An easy final stage, Guidi was 8th before this stage but 6 boni seconds could let him jump from 8 to place 5, he went for the first boni sprint and succeeded in taking the 6 secs, a few kms later a group gets away and with 20 kms there are 3 left...but their lead seems to small
Left: Guidi takes some important seconds, Right: Heijboer, Jalabert and Marques
The 3 get caught just in time and then Vorganov has to hope that Costa doesn't win...guess what happens
Costa wins yet again and take the final win on the final stage!

Paris Nice
"Franco Pellizotti wins in Mende and takes the jersey to Nice"
Franco Pellizotti won stage 4 to Mende and remained in the lead, it was a strange Paris Nice after Gutierrez won the TT it was Torsten Hiekmann who surprised his breakaway companions by taking the stage just in front of Benatti. After Sanchez won the sprint in stage 2 and Boonen in stage 3 it was Pellizotti who made his move on the 4th stage by beating Mayo and Frank Schleck in Mende. Pineau won the next stage in front of the old Brochard while McEwen surprisingly took stage 6. Gomez Marchante won the final stage to Nice solo but he didn't mean any harm to Pellizotti and so he won.

1. Franco Pellizotti - Liquigas - 29h47'36"

Tirreno Adriatico
"Italians bite Kirchen's dust as he wins Tirreno Adriatico"
Just as Paris Nice the Tirreno Adriatico also started crazy as the leader after the 1st stage was Marco Fertonani! But unfortunately for him he lost his lead the day after to Kim Kirchen who finished in a group behind the break in which Sebastien Hinault was the strongest. The 3rd stage almost went to Kirchen but it was Gilbert who beated him on the line and in stage 4 it was Matthe Pronk who won after beating his fellow breakaway companion Rossi in the sprint. Stage 5 saw Zabriskie winning a very close TT and in stage 6 Ricardo Ricco won but to everyone's surprise Kirchen hang on to the Italian climbers and therefore kept his lead...the final stage, won by Allan Davis didn't change anything as Kirchen wins the Tirreno Adriatico.
next, one of the most exciting MSR's I ever played!
Milano San Remo
Our sprinters will not make it past the Cipressa me thinks and so being in the main break and a top 50 rank will probably be enough for us, after a high pace at the start it is Gianmpaolo Cheula who takes off, more and more join him and after a while there is a pretty strong group up front
19 riders, notable names are Cobo, Rodriguez, Kopp, Gesink, Leukemans, Zabriskie, Mazzanti, Figueras and Cheula
There are some dangerous guys out there but Milram and Lampre don't seem to care, with 90 kms to go and a 10 min advantage Milram and Lampre finally react but it could be too late since the group is so big and some of these guys won't lose much on the Cipressa and the Poggio! The group gets smaller when they reach the Cipressa and soon it seems like the pack won't catch them all even though the pace is extremely high...on the descent of the Cipressa 4 guys are left chasing the Spaniard Cobo
As Cobo is on his way to the Poggio, Zabriskie, Mazzanti, Leukemans and Rodriguez are trying everything to catch him!
When they get to the Poggio Cobo surrenders to spare some energy and soon it is Dave Zabriskie who tries to slip away but the 4 work together and catch him on the top of the Poggio, when they go down Zabriskie even has to let go because of his earlier effort and so 4 are left but then the race get's even more exciting and stranger!
Left: Zabriskie won't win today! Right: Mazzanti slips away on the hot tarmac! 3 are left in this crazy race!
So it's down to Cobo, Rodriguez and Leukemans and soon it appears that Cobo is now feeling the pain from his earlier solo...Rodriguez sences this and sets off, Cobo can't do anything...Leukemans can as he jumps out of Cobo's wheel but it would be too little too late!
Rodriguez' decisive jump, Leukemans came too late and so Rodriguez wins a crazy Milano San Remo!
Pozzaton wins the sprint in front of Paolini, Wegmann and Cancellara (Gesink was from the early break) And Efimkin ended 48th behind Zabel and in front of Hushovd --8)

Stage 1, Riccione - Riccione:
A hilly criterium trough Riccione which isn't extremely difficult so a sprint will probably decide the winner today but the pace is a bit slow and so a Barloworlder tries his luck but isn't rewarded with the win, Efimkin (who has 93 pts --8) ) gets caught in the sprint and ends 15th, up front the pro tour riders get surprised by a Russian from the Tinkoff team!

Stage 3, Cervia - Faenza:
Many experts see this stage as a flat stage but nevertheless we send our team out there with the lightest equipment and an attack from Efimkin can be expected on the final climb! On the climb all the favourites soon attack, Garzelli first and Efimkin counters him...first Efimkin doesn't feel good but suddenly he drops the veteran and finds himself up front, luckily he gets some company as Nocentini and Rebellin join him. Sella and Ghisalberti just don't manage to join but then the poor Efimkin has to all the work himself as Rebellin tells Nocentini to work he stops working himself as well...but Efimkin keeps on going and when they sprint it isnt so surprising that the cowards decide who wins, luckily it is Rebellin who did do some work who wins it easily, still a 3rd place behind Nocentini and Rebellin isn't too shabby for Efimkin
Left: The young Russian had to do all the work, Right: Rebellin takes the win
Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali, 6 Stages:
Stage 4, Scandiano - Modenense:
A stage which would suit our young Russian leader well, since we want a stage win in this, for us, important tour we send Efimkin on the road with the thought that he will attack on the final hill, he does and amazes everyone as not even Gerdemann can hang onto him! Efimkin can't believe it as he wins the stage by 27 secs in front of some guys who listen to the names Rebellin, Garzelli and Gerdemann --8)
Left: Efimkin on his way to the win, Right: Efimkin is excited with the win, and the overall lead!

Stage 6, Castellarano - Sassuolo:
The final stage in which Barloworld had to defend Efimkin's lead, everything goes right until the german talent Gerdemann decides to give it a go together with Mazzanti who was very unlucky in MSR. They go early but their lead stands and so Efimkin goes after them himself but is it enough?
Left: Gerdemann and Mazzanti looking good, Right: Efimkin in an attempt to defend his lead!
But unfortunately Efimkin lacks the strenght to make it, Nocentini does make the jump and so it looks like Efimkin will lose 2 places, not bad in a field as strong as this but still Aleksandr is a bit dissapointed...
The coward from stage 2, Nocentini takes the stage and the overall...
We brought a very strong team but if I would have known that the competition would have been this weak I would have changed my line-up
Stage 1, Brignano - Brignano:

thanks guys, well I just used my team's capacities to the fullest and was therefore able to destroy the 'small' competition
Volta ao Alentejo, 6 Stages:
Soler and Siutsou are our leaders here because of the mountain ITT
Stage 1, Vidigueira - Beja:
A flat stage and we could use Bonomi and Serebriakov here, first a break with Caccia in it is caught but Serebriakov manages to join the right break...
Serebriakov finds himself in the break together with Turrina, Livramento, Garcia Dapena, Rosendo, Sousa, Sa and Sousa Alves
The breaks seems to make it but what's more surprising is that the Tinkoff team doesn't manage to get closer at first, so the winner of this stage will also take a nice lead in the GC which won't be endangered during the mountain ITT of only 7 kms...Serebriakov is of course the best sprinter but he still has to look out that he doesn't overestimate himself, the Young Russian goes early but then Turrina comes very close!
Left: Serebriakov starts the sprint early! Right: Turrina doesn't catch him and so Serebriakov wins the stage!

A mountainious ITT and Serebriakov, with his 54 MO and 64 TT stats knew that he had to suffer if he wanted to keep his jersey, the 7 kms were not enough for the big guns to take the jersey but other guys in the group were better climbers than Serebriakov and so it didn't look good, Serebriakov took it easy after he heard from Mauricio Soler, who would finish the day as 2nd, that time he can win time in the final km where alot of riders blow up. Serebriakov follows his advice...and when he looks at the screen he can't believe what he's seeing
