I saw it on an interview with Damsgaard, can't remember where. All I remember was it was on TV. To the first bit he just said something about that not being him anymore and to the second one he responded with some pretty strong views against enforced military service.

EDIT: a quick google search turned this up (but only about the military service bit)

The military service thing is very normal here in Denmark. If you're picked out for military service, and you don't want to do it you've got to do some community work instead. It's not "jail", you can barely call it 'illegal'.

I don't really care, I'm going by what the guy said on the interview. He didn't say what the previous count on fraud was for, but it sounded like something about money.

Just my guess from the way he said it though. Can't find anything on it online, but then again it's not like he's a well known personality...

Following news of Basso becoming anti-doping ambasador David Milllar says that Basso was in no way a role model for those aspiring to become professional cyclists.

"He is neither a hero, nor a victim. He cannot be a model for the young people," said Millar.

Then what are you David?

It's not just barely legal. It's perfectly legal. You have the right to deny to hold a weapon.

Alessandro Petacchi has just become a dad, luckily he's just earned himself a year-off so he can spend all his time with his son.

Lampre have announced that the final decision on Diego Ulissi has been made: he will join the ProTour team next january as a 19 year old.

For those who don't know Ulissi, he was world road race champion in the last two years and is a big promise (that doesn't mean he's a future star though. it's not unusual for a rider to have such results and be a complete bust as a professional)

The 2008 Rás kicks off in Navan on Sunday with one rider on the start sheet who definitely will not be riding.

The Plowman Craven five man squad lists track star Craig MacLean in their squad for the eight day tour of Ireland, the result of a practical joke gone slightly awry.

“We were joking about with Craig and he said 'I might sign on for a couple of crits, do a few laps and then pull out,” said team manager Garry Beckett. “I must have put him down on the team sheet by accident and forgotten to take him off.”

MacLean, who has been training in Germany with the GB track squad, will be relieved to hear that Neil Coleman will taking his spot at the Rás, joining Evan Oliphant, Simon Richardson, Tom Barras and Alex Higham.

a great mistake

why wasnt he included in the pcmdailydb?
because he is not doing any road races?

WADA will sue Landis of 1.3 million $. That's what it has costed WADA for Landis' appeal cases, and they want Landis to pay their costs. Of course, this case depends on that Landis loses the case in CAS.

I wanna sue Landis for no other reason than ruining a TdF.

Damn right they should. Lets not make it a case of worrying about the costs of the case when prosecuting dopers

Leukemans is no longer suspended.
The court of state( or however you translate "raad van state" to english Pfft) has cancelled the suspension due to procedure errors, the trial will have to be done over again and until then he is no longer suspended for the time being. Smile
