It's all a matter of personal choice. I personally like the Flèche because even the best riders nearly stop going up the Mur de Huy, there's no climb quite like it in any other belgian or dutch classic.
But hey, personal opinion. It's pointless to argue what's best, because there isn't even a decent definition of "best".

I personally like the Flèche the most since most riders stay together 'till the end, which makes for an interesting final climb. |

I like Lombardy the most. The falling leaves, the northern Italian enviroment. And the longer climbs... It's a great classic to finish the season with. |

I disagree, it's just about the same riders there are up there in Lombardy as in the Ardennes.

but that goes for every one of them, so it doesn't make much of a difference

Not just the ones from the ardennes, but usually also some GT riders who can afford to go all-out because they don't have to save themselves for anything else. Also, people who spent half the season injured and didn't race much are usually fresh at the end of the season, creating more surprises.

Lombardy is just the final race of the season. Everyone's tired and can't wait to take a break etc. etc. |

I think the Goldrace have had more excitement finales than LBL the last many seasons! That doesn't make me prefer one of those races over the other though. Luckily they're ridden on seperate dates.
Fleche is also cool. Only dowside to that race is that's ridden on a wednesday. |
