One of Gesink's strengths is his Mental power, he keeps his head calm.

Let's hope Gesink wont be the nexdt Rujano
I doubt it. for one he hasn't shown Rujano's awesome promise, but he very well might, as he's quite a bit younger than Rujano was in that 2005 Giro that he could've won if he'd been smart. And I think Gesink has his head set on straight.
I know Mancebo's head wasn't |

Worst joke ever
Seriously though, imagine a rider with EscartÃn's "crab-imitation" climbing style, Mancebo's head tilt and Moreau's tongue

Rujano and Gesink both come from very different cultures so you can;t really compare those 2 with eachother. However I do think Gesink is going to be better than Thomas Dekker, tbh I don;t really believe that Thomas Dekker will be that great...

Culture has absolutely nothing to do with mentality. It only affects how people interact with those they don't know very well. The mental characteristics we're talking about here are totally different.

Italians...
Soler definitely has alot of talent and is a great climber. But you need more than just the ability to climb to do well in big races.

*sigh*
I meant that the thing you said about mentality was the point I was trying to proveBut I do think your background infleunces your mentality, I think many Colombians could succeed here if they just had the right mentality, ofcourse you also still have a whole legion of doped up Colombians who dont wanna come here (Same with the French imo, not the doping part but the mentality part)

I don't think there's any mentality problem with the french as a group. I think the problem is a different one.

For cycling. No. For skiing (and pretty much everyday life), yes.
Overall, I think most cyclists have the right mentality - otherwise they won't be pro cyclists for long

I was about 8 when I went skiing in France, and the queues weren't really queues for chair lifts. The French just shoved people out they way to get on as quickly as possible

I'd guess we're one of the very few countries where queues are respected, since foreigners here seem to try their hardest to ignore them
Except for the english of course, who are usually easily identifiable by their shrimp-coloured sun-tan above the waist and bewildered "I have no idea where we are" stares.
