I don't think you do, what you do is base your product's price with that in mind. It is no different than selling the game in a shop. The shop takes a similar cut off their 30€ product price.

The links you posted were utter nonsense for that topic. Yes Ubsoft removed the possibilty to buy some of their games on Steam, but since I own almost every game of Ubisoft and so does my friend, I can tell you that, at least it didn't affect me so far. And I bought every game I have from a Keyshop, since 2013. Never had problems.
It's not nonsense at all. Just because you never had problems, it doesn't mean nobody had. I've read tons of report of people who say that Steam made their key invalid, once they found out that a key was fraudolent, and that was because Kinguin obtained it in non-legit ways.
Again, I don't care one bit, but not all sellers are the same and you still take a risk. Kinguin is not an authorized seller.

GOG? GOG may be great. I don't know, but as long as none of my friends use it and as long as we love Steam, why should I switch? I have no friends there, so the concept doesn't work for me.
I wasn't telling you to switch to GOG D:
Paul23 wrote:
Also you are not against DRM but against Steam. So only giving 5 installations is ok, but giving access to your games, everywhere and at anytime is a pain?
Forcing that access behind a client is a pain, yes. GOG also lists all the game that I have bought. I just click "download" and I re download them anytime. They just don't force me to go through their client.

Also you can decide where to install games, just set up another directoy in the sttings
And then I'll be forced to install all games there anyway. |

@Dax...again
Only a short answer from me this time.
You can install games on steam where you want....You are not bound to one, 2 or 3 locations...You can change it whenever you want. Also still you calculate that cost in. And you know that only people report problems when they have a problem?(obvious) That means that, if 1000000 players buy the game and 500 people have problems. (0,05%) That the forums will be full with 500 people complaining. It will look like much, although it isn't. Also, sadly there are also some people out there, who get banned(f.e. cheating) and state that ubisoft f.e. with no reason took their game from them, just to get revenge for getting banned.

1 Hour warning.
You should have completed all your daily tasks. Snacks at the ready. Girlfriend diverted. Now time to have a wee, empty that bladder. Put on something comfy and prepare to not blink for several hours. |
