Nice! A podium from Schumacher is great, and more than I should have expected. This is always one of his better races of the season. Thanks for the reports SN, this was a fun race.

Thanks for the reporting. It was clearly the most disappointing race for me this season. Congrats to SRB.

Good for Cancellara to get that stage win to accompany the GC win, a third stafe race win of the season for us to go with Alarcons double.
We do still have some hope of mucking tge last stage race as well.
It is an unpredictable one TONE and with Cancellara reducing thus year, it really could open up again next year. I feel it is nice to have the cobbles early, but of course I would say that.
Great reporting SN!

I wanted a great result in this race and I got one.
So can`t complain even if LLS couldn`t climb higher than 16th.
Boom`s perfect PT race and he delivered. Cancellara is one level above surely even though the gained time was not in the cobbled stage.
Cobblers in general were a bit more calm than puncheurs.
Thanks for the nice reports SN. |

Good first PT race I guess. Konovalovas could've done really well if only he was a bit better on the cobbles, but I'll take the 23rd place. Vaitkus has shown he's an excellent rider and his 24th place proves that. Puusepp finally had a good race, and the same applies for Vanoverschelde. It's just a shame Ulanowski fell, would've liked him to compete in a mass sprint, mainly because in my eyes he is the absolute favourite for the B-Worlds.
Will hopefully see you PT-Managers again next year at some point!

5th and 7th overall + teams is a good result, gamble on two team leaders paid off in the end. Thanks very much for the great reports SN, this is always an interesting race. Congrats to Smowz as well.

Not quite the race I'd hoped for, though a few stage podiums meant it wasn't awful.
GC racing for Guarnieri was stupid though. Especially as I think Blythe could have been top 20 at the very least if the team had ridden for him. Next season I'll have to rethink the team make up.

Not the best stage for me. Failed to win the team's classification and Van Der Velde lost two places in the GC.
The only upside is De Kort moving inside the top 20.
Thanks for the reports, SN.

Great reports SN!
Really nice race for my team, but it could have been even way better. I really should bring here a better lead-out man for Bewley, Sagan would likely be more useful elsewhere. On the otherway Stybar and Polnicky had almost perfect results, the best results of their season.

Thanks for this race SN.
Kuznetsov made it all worthwhile for us. Congratulations Smowz for the victory here

Thanks SN, great reporting.
But why did you have to get my hopes up that Cornu could win the stage? With the number of wins I've had this year that's just mean.

Well, didn't get much better in the last part of the race. Should perhaps invest in some backup for Kennaugh, so he's not as sucky in terms of positioning next season... |
