So far i'm really happy with Eastman and Stetina's GC as well as the team's TTT win. In-N-Out are impressing as well. No doubt they are on their way to a top 5. Really enjoyable reports too!
Dyball's personal coach - Still satisfied with Ben's performance so far. Today was a rather quiet day except of Eastman and Kashechkin proving their strength. It was all about staying in that front group, that was our plan. There will be tougher summit finishes, so there will be a more crucial point where to attack the GC's Top-5! Apart from Ben, I really enjoy this battle between Eastman/Kashechkin right now.
That stage was nothing but flat and mountain, we have Txurruka (FL:70, MNT:76) & Camargo (FL:70, MNT:75), potential podium you would think, from either one. No. Txurruka finishes 16th and Camargo loses 10 minutes, what a game!
We have to hope for a stage win in the next two stages. Txurruka should easily be the most aggressive at this race, and no stages suit him really as much as the next two.
The only thing to take from the last two stages is the realization that Nicacio could have comfortably finished on the GC podium here, as it is he is still the only rider to abandon. ha ha ha, oh dear.
Woo hoo! Robov is a perfect style of rider for a breakaway. Decent climbing and sprinting skills makes him a good all-round threat. Stage win #5 for the season for the team and puts Robov level with Lloyd for stage wins in the team (isn't that a bit worrying!). Perfect payback for Georgie and Stoenchev coming so close earlier on. Now i hope we can push forwards and slide in Top10 GC and grab another stage win
Guess the long TT will go a long way to deciding that last podium spot. You feel that Eastman is just about in control of the Kash man. You do get the feeling that Andrei would be on the phone to his old mate Vino for some fresh blood in this one
I am very impressed with my team here. Two stage wins and two 2nd places from breakaways. Plus not 2 riders up there fighting for the KOM jersey. Not to mention we have held both the Points and leaders jersey in this race.
Hopefully we should get a very good points total from here to help in our fight against relegation
