Why exactly is there no natural progression for custom riders? Isn't that just giving real riders a huge advantage when it comes to winning big races? Even the most active rider will struggle to become world class, and by only just trying to do so will completely neglect any other stat than the specalisation one.

The natural progress is there so young riders still advance, even though the manager does not spend points on them. It would be very hard for teams with a lot of young riders otherwise.
For EPIC riders, you can have a lot of progress by just being active, I don't think we need anything added to that (especialy if I give the free update).
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

How do the goal points work? I thought it was 50 for hard, 40 for medium and 30 for easy? If so, I don't have enough.

Correct, you have 30 points too few. I'll change it now.

On another note: I'd really like if more balanced riders would be rewarded by the free updgrade as well (and I'm not biased, cause I got nobody to upgrade ).
So my suggestion would be: Everybody gets 5-8 points he has to spend on stats below 60. If there are still points over after all stats are 60 or higher (which could possibly be all of that points), those points can be used on all other stats while higher stats need more of those points to upgrade (maybe <70 needs 1, <75 needs 2 and everything else 3, while you can't go over 80).

Did you actually looked at my palmares?I don't think you did.It is in the page 4.And did you made Nibali's stat upgrades at season break 2?
Because I made his REC and TT +1

I did, but I took some points away because your HQ lacked structure and layout, was a lot of blind text and some was even just copied off reporters. I did rate the speed of your updates quite high though
Yes, Nibali is on 80 rec and 77 tt

Damn, I hate wasting points but I just don't see the point of making him a slightly less wanky climber to use up the points.

I thought it would be the 243 cost but as only 2 riders EPIC would be possible for an 80>81 increase i thought i would check because it's becoming clear that it's going to take a very special Season Part of updates to get a rider beyond the 80 mark (f*cking Hinault is 3 points short!)
Well, I don't think a 21 year old should be above 80 already, but 2 is few indeed, I'll take a look at it.
Last update round Khamphy went to 81 though, iirc.
Have you taken the look yet?
In fact not even a full 300 is enough for a 23-year old to upgrade anything to 81 without a WC-participation...
