There is always some rider who is taking stage win from Sagan..

This time it was Bauer. Wink

Sagan will soon crush some record in podiums during one year. Pfft

Well, blocked or not by Bauer, Sagan should have been better positioned.

Sagan would've never reached Kristoff anyway he was 4 bike lengths in front so saying Bauer stopped Sagan from winning is just another excuse.

Not sure if it might have been posted somewhere before, but Voeckler.

I think he would be close 2nd, but we cannot be sure in these situations. Well, you are obviously sure, but i am not...

It was a dominant win by Kristoff.

Yeah, as was not Degenkolb few stages earlier and it did not stop you and others claiming he could have won, if not being stopped by Trentin...

I am not sure if you are just trolling me, or being stupid. How he can be in the shot when he had to stop pedalling completely?

For the record, i think he would be second.

1) Degenkolb's interrupted sprint was 300 metres to go and was WAY better positioned than Sagan yesterday.

2) Sagan didn't stop pedaling AFTER he overtook Bauer and unlike in Degenkolb's case it happened 50 metres before the line so it didn't have such impact.

I feel like people are really underrating Kristoff.

It clearly wasn't a regular sprint. The weather and the changing crosswind made it a very hard stage and tired out the less tough sprinters like Greipel and especially Kittel. Kristoff was favourite because of the stage length and the conditions - it' not a surprise he won the stage.

Yeah, I also remember Voeckler on the Alp in 2011 got bohed by nearly all the dutch fans. Not classy at all.

Those people aren't fans. They don't care about the race. They don't care about the sport. You have to remember most people there are on vacation, where the only thing they do is getting wasted everyday.

It was the same tour when Hoogerland and Flecha got hit by the car. Some stupids were angry with Voeckler, because he attacked right afterwards that incident.

Stupid, drunk and biased fans is a very common sight in pro cycling, unfortunately.

So none of those dutch guys in the dutch-turn or whatever it is called are fans? I know they are wasted, but as you were saying, that was a result of Voeckler attacking right after Hoogerland got hit. Fan or not, drunk or not, that was lame to watch after such a great Tour by Tommy. And apparantly, some of them havent forgot which is unfortunate

He was talking about those particular guys, not about the guys in the Dutch corners.

It seems to me he is talking about the dutch guys on Alpe 'd Huez, but whatever

Yup, you're right, didn't see the line under the recent Voeckler video.

Well, that's an untrue statement, I know some cycling fans who go to France almost every summer, just to see the Tour and aren't drunk and behave well.

But yeah, there's always stupid people who ruin the fun for the others with being drunk and creating dangerous situations by running like a moron.

Watching the TdF just because you happen to be in France (remember France is vacation destination no.1 in the Netherlands) doesn't make you a fan. A lot of dutch people on Alpe d'huez only care about getting wasted and see the TdF passing as an attraction.

I'm sure there are also real fans between those hordes of people who do know their stuff about cycling and watch other races.

It's clear that the people that are booing riders can't be considered fans. I'd rather consider them as idiots.
